Wait, an empty floor at a big casino? That's kinda the dream for me honestly πŸ˜… I've only done a couple of land casino trips so far and every single time the slot area near the entrance was packed, hard to even find a machine I liked. Also nice to hear the cage was quick and friendly when you cashed out. I only cashed out once in person and I was so nervous standing there lol, they were patient with me at least. Question though, was it dead on a weekday or did you go at a weird hour? And do you think the low crowd actually made it more fun or kinda killed the vibe? 🎰

Empty floor near the entrance is where all the dead machines live anyway, so you dodged a bullet πŸ˜… When it's slow like that I actually get to shop around for a machine instead of grabbing whatever's free. Last trip out the floor was quiet too and I banked a hit on the pokies and walked it straight to the cage. Gotta say the staff there didn't make me wait around either, counted it out, cheque paperwork sorted, done. Cashing out in time is everything, and an empty floor makes it easier to actually hear yourself think before you talk yourself into one more spin. Winnng a bit and keeping it beats a packed room and a busted bankroll every time 🎰
Cashing out in time is half the battle.

shopping around for machines is fine when you're browsing, but a dead quiet floor gives me the shivers a little. turned 50 into 5k once at a place that was humming on a saturday night, and i swear the energy around you has something to do with it. half the fun is the noise, somebody two seats over hits a bonus and the whole row gets loud πŸ˜„ that said, i'll give you this. my last visit to lonestar the floor was nearly empty too, and the cage, honestly the friendliest i've dealt with in years. cashed out my winnings and they had me sorted quick, no attitude, no queue. newbie from winnipeg, if you read this, an empty floor isn't a bad first trip. just don't expect the machines to pay better for it, the old slots hit different and that was true back then whether the room was packed or dead πŸ˜‰

Honestly the empty floor would bother me a bit too πŸ˜… but if the cage staff are friendly and quick when you cash out, that already beats half the places I've been. My first cashout ever I was so nervous I asked like three dumb questions and they still didn't make me feel like an idiot, so good cage people matter more than I thought. Curious if anyone else has been on a quiet night there? πŸ€”
