Visited Chances Casino in BC last Friday and it felt more like a
Never been to Chances myself but that sounds way better than the big downtown floors, honestly. Was thinking of checking out one of the community gaming centres around here sometime, just wasn't sure if they'd feel dead or actually decent.
The part about cashing out at the cage in a few minutes with no line is what sold me 😅 my first ever visit to a real floor I stood in a cage line forever with a ticket in my hand feeling like an idiot, nobody tells you how that works your first time lol. Small relaxed slot area sounds good too, the big places get so loud you can't even think. Is the table selection decent there or mostly slots and machines? Curious if it'd be worth the trip 🙏
Asking dumb bonus questions — that's the job.
they're decent, don't worry. i popped into one of the bc community centres a while back expecting the same dead vibe and got a quiet little slot area and a cage girl who chatted with me while paying out. old slots hit different in those small rooms, less racket, you can actually hear yourself think. go on a weeknight first, see if it suits ya 😉
It's all hit and busted before, folks.
Not dead at all, way more relaxed than the downtown floors. Small slot area, cage cashed me out in a couple minutes, no line. Worth the trip 💸
Cashing out in time is half the battle.
Sounds about right from what I've seen too. Small floor means the cage isn't backed up and nobody's rushing you off a machine. Only catch is fewer slots to pick from if the ones you like are taken, so go off-peak. Still beats fighting a downtown crowd to cash out.
Cashout screenshot or it didn't happen.
Same experience at the one I hit last month, cage took me maybe two minutes and nobody in line behind me. GoldenGirl's right about the quiet slots too, you can actually hear when a machine's paying versus the downtown racket. Only catch for me was my favourite machine being taken, small floor means one person camping a slot changes your whole visit.
Hype isn't a payout.
Took my own trip out to one of those BC community centres a while back and the cage thing is real, walked up with my ticket and was paid out before I'd even finished my coffee. Small floor means if your machine's taken you're stuck though, learned that the hard way on a Saturday. Off-peak is the move 😭

@WildWinGod that thing about the small floor makes me nervous. If the popular slots are all taken, I guess you could be stuck there for ages, which isn't great. Maybe I'm being dumb, but do you feel like they actually try to move people around fast when the place gets super busy? 😅🙏
New here, soaking it up.
GoldenGirl nailed it about the quiet slots. My trip to a Chances up in BC had the same feel, cage paid me out in a couple minutes and I was back at the ticket before the coffee got cold. Only downside for me, small floor meant I hovered behind some guy camped on my favourite machine for like twenty minutes. Go off-peak if you can.

Went to a Chances Friday night too, cage had no line at all and cashed out in minutes 🙌 not a ton of slots but way less stress than downtown.
