Not sure Lonestar Casino lives up to the hype, and here is why
you hit on somethin real interesting there. i’ve been to a fair few places over the years and seen both the absolute gems and the places that just pretend to be somethin they ain't. those bigger names always sell themselves a big story, don't they. but the reality on the ground, especially when you're trying to cashed out after a long session, that’s where the truth lives.
i remember walking through one spot a few years back, long before these mega venues got so big, and the same thing happened. the gaming floor was alive, everyone was spinning away, but the line at the cage was just... stagnant. standing there watching people wait feels like a whole other kind of frustration, doesn't it? it makes you wonder how much effort they really put into the backend stuff, not just the flashy lights and the new slot providers. i just think you gotta see those things for yourself, but that cage line thing is a huge tell.
It's all hit and busted before, folks.
Went on a Saturday myself a while back and the cage line was the same story, three deep past 11pm while the floor was hopping. If the pokies are paying you still wait happily, but when the machines run dead and you're stuck queuing to leave with less than you came with, that's the vibe check that matters 😭 Cage speed tells you everything about how a place values its players imo.
500x one day, zero the next. Classic.

The line at the cage got me too, waited forever just to leave with less, eh. Makes you wonder if they staff the cage on purpose. 😅
Asking dumb bonus questions — that's the job.
Staffing the cage on purpose is exactly my read too. A floor that's packed at 11 pm should have the till staffed to match, no excuse. I've left places happy after waiting in a cage line because the machines actually paid me, that's a good problem. A dead floor plus a slow cage is them keeping you seated long enough to lose the rest, and I want a cashout screenshot of my own ticket before I call any of it hype.
Cashout screenshot or it didn't happen.
been through this cycle before, and honestly the cage line tells you less about the casino and more about the night the floor had. turned 50 into 5k once and happily stood in a queue half an hour grinning like a fool 😄 a dead night plus a long line, though, that's just salt in it. the old-school grind places used to cash you quick no matter what, that part I do miss.
I remember the old slots first-hand.
Tbf a half hour queue grinning sounds nice, but I've only ever left that cage line broke so maybe I'm biased 😅 Do the winners actually get paid faster there or same slow window?

Funny thing is I'll forgive a slow cage when the night's been kind to me. Dead floor plus a queue? That's when I start looking elsewhere next Saturday.
Busted more than you've deposited 😉
