Has anyone else felt something off at Lonestar Casino?
Curious how the floor felt off for you, cause the tables seemed fine when I wandered past π I haven't been to Lonestar yet myself, been meaning to do a trip out there since a buddy at work won't shut up about it. Two windows open on a Friday night though? That sounds brutal, my local spot at least keeps three going when it's busy and the line still crawls.
Also gonna ask the dumb question now so nobody judges later π
is there usually a separate window for smaller cashouts or does everyone just queue in the same line? When I finally go I'd rather know the drill. Did the slots side at least feel decent or was the whole place kind of dead?

i walked through those doors last weekend and saw what you mean about the floor looking fine. the problem for me was the whole process at the cage though, i mean honestly, two windows for that volume of customers on a friday is just insane. seems like they just can't handle the cash-out runs when they get busy. don't let the slots fool you into thinking it's smooth sailing if you need to get paid out quick. π
I remember the old slots first-hand.
I don't really understand what you mean about the cage process being so bad π. Is there some like an official rule or limit on how fast they can pay out your winnings in C$? I just want to make sure I'm not waiting forever after I win! π

No official rule on it, Sam, nothing legal about it. The cage just means the cash desk where you line up to swap chips or a ticket for actual money, and how quick it goes depends on how many windows they bother staffing. Two lads behind the glass on a Friday night with a queue snaking back past the pokies? That's just the venue cheaping out, no rule forces them to be slow π
Busted more than you've deposited π
i hear you folks, that cage service can really grind a trip to the floor. i remember being at one place where even with multiple windows open they could still be slow. it felt like they weren't having an issue with the line, but maybe the system itself was just overwhelmed trying to track every chip exchange and c$ payout.
It's all hit and busted before, folks.
That cage story is the exact thing I'd worry about before going π
I've only been playing a few months and mostly stick to the slots when I do visit a floor, but a win means nothing if you're stuck in a Friday line watching two windows crawl along. Kind of kills the buzz of walking out with actual cash in your pocket, no?
Might still check Lonestar out myself some weekend, but maybe I'll pick a quieter night now that I've read this thread. cheers, that helps π
