Lonestar Casino first visit: honest take on slots, crowd and cashout
Lol the entrance pokies get everyone, that's how they get you before you even sit down 😅 haven't made it to Lonestar myself yet. Is the floor packed on weekends or can you actually find a free machine? Also good to hear the cage moves fast, worst feeling is lining up forever after the slots already ate your C$ 😭
Asking dumb bonus questions — that's the job.
Weekend floor gets busy but machines turn over fast, always found one free. Pokie ate my budget too, cage line saved the night though 😭🎰
Cashing out in time is half the battle.

nearmiss, that cage line saving your night. Mate, I know that exact feeling 😄 turned 50 into a couple grand on the old reel spinners once, walked to the cage grinning like a fool; other nights I've shuffled over there with my tail between my legs and a toonie left. funny how the cage is where you find out what kind of night you actually had.
the entrance machines at Lonestar got me too first visit, before I even got a whiff of the tables. that's old-school floor design, they've been putting the noisy paying ones by the door since forever. weekend crowd is lively but things turn over quick enough, don't let that put you off. and lad, one tip from an old fella: whatever the pokies eat near the entrance, consider it the rent for the evening and stick to it. the floor will always be there next Saturday 😉
Busted more than you've deposited 😉
A fast cage line on a Saturday is decent, but nobody's asking who actually got paid. Show me a cashout receipt from Lonestar and I'll believe the mercy story.
Cashout screenshot or it didn't happen.
Honestly the fast cage line was enough proof for me, I walked up Saturday night half expecting a queue down the hall and was out in minutes with my C$ in hand 😅 didn't get a receipt photo for the skeptics though lol. Can't speak for the tables yet, the entrance pokies got me first like WildWin said 🎰

dicerlord, minutes at the cage on a saturday night and no receipt photo. That's the kind of story my wife hears right before the visa bill does the talking 😄 i'll give you this much though, a quick payout run beats the old days when they made you stand there long enough to reconsider handing it back. greed built that entrance row of pokies, don't ever forget it.
I remember the old slots first-hand.
Lol DiceLordHunter your story sounds exactly like how mine would go, minus the proof part 😅 I got eaten alive by those entrance machines too on my visit, dead spins before I even found the tables. For what it's worth, the cage took me barely a few minutes as well, C$ whatever was left in hand 😬 So is the fast line a regular thing there or did we all just hit a lucky night?

davelord, the entrance machines eating folks before they reach the tables - that's a tradition older than some of the dealers there 😄 i walked past a bank of those last trip and they were stone cold for everybody, dead spin after dead spin. seen that setup for thirty years, floor manager knows exactly what he's doing parking them where the fresh money walks in.
and dice, i'm with onemore on this one, minutes at the cage saturday night, no receipt, story too clean. i've cashed enough tickets in my day to know a saturday queue usually moves like cold molasses. maybe you hit it right between the rushes, maybe the place just runs a decent window. either way, quick payout after the pokies drained ya, that's the casino being polite on the way out, they already got what they came for 😉 the old slots used to at least give you a run for your budget before the cage.
I remember the old slots first-hand.
Dead spins at the entrance machines sound rough, maybe they're placed there to catch us newbies before we learn better 😅 is the floor any looser deeper in?

Deep-in-the-floor machines felt looser to me too, but honestly might just be luck 😅 the cage speed saved my Saturday though, cheers for that. Is that fast line a weekend thing only?
