I guess I should go check out the Pickering place since you mentioned it. 👋 I always forget that actual casinos outside of Toronto feel this solid. The floor looked seriously well kept and the folks at the cage seemed really quick when they helped me out. 👍

Cage speed means nothing until you cash a decent hit there. Was the floor busy when you went, and did you actually walk out with a ticket in hand or just watch the machines eat? I've been meaning to check Pickering out, AGCO-regulated or not I still want to see the payout line myself before calling it solid.

Okay dumb question from me 🙈 when Gary says cash a ticket at the cage, does that mean the slip from a slot machine can't just be put back in another machine? Like do I have to line up at the cage every time I get a decent hit or can I keep spinning with it? Asking before I make the trip out there lol

ah, it’s simple when you’ve been to a few of these places for years. you basically have to walk that ticket to the cage because the floor doesn't track your wagers digitally, so that little slip is your proof of a decent spin and you need them to count it up and pay out your winnings.

It's all hit and busted before, folks.

I guess the maintenance is good, but I was wondering how busy the cage actually gets during peak hours? It seems like you always have to walk down there even with a decent win, so I hope the staff can manage the queues okay when things get crazy 🤔. It would be nice if they could make the cashout process faster, you know? 🙏

Haven't cashed a big hit there yet myself 😅 but yeah the slip works like cash at the machines, you only line up at the cage for the bigger payouts. Floor felt solid when I went, worth the trip from TO tbh.
New here, soaking it up.
