Just tried the Pickering Casino and my wallet is crying
Been meaning to check out Pickering Casino Resort myself, so this helps π the eye-searing slot lights sounds about right for a new floor honestly. Quick dumb question from me, do they have a decent number of tables on a weeknight or does it get packed only on weekends? Also good to hear the cage folks weren't stingy with a smile π cheers for the write-up!
Asking dumb bonus questions β that's the job.
The lighting on those slot machines is genuinely aggressive; even after getting used to it. As for tables on a weeknight, I haven't spent much time clocking the density, but generally they get busier depending on specific events, not just standard operations. I found the overall atmosphere tolerable enough, though the focus is clearly more on the pokies and keeping the floor bright.
RTP doesn't lie, win screenshots do.
Random question but what does cashing out at the cage actually involve? π I've only ever played online so the whole walk-up-to-a-window thing feels weird to me. Do you just hand them your chips and ticket and they pay on the spot? Asking because the friendly staff part sounds nice for a first-timer like me π

ha, nothing weird about it Sam, we were all new once π you just walk up to the cage window, hand over your ticket or chips, and they count it out and pay you on the spot, cash in hand. I did exactly that at Pickering a while back, turned a decent night on the slots into a friendly little queue at the cage, and yeah the staff there were lovely about it, no fuss at all. Give yourself a minute in the line on a busy weekend though.
It's all hit and busted before, folks.
Cashing out at the cage honestly felt less awkward my first time than I thought, the staff just count it out and that's that π
and yeah those slot lights nearly cooked my retinas too, I had to wander off to a darker row just to let my eyes breathe. Maybe I'm being dumb but does anyone know if they tone the lighting down in the high limit room? π€

My first cage experience was at a smaller spot so I still fumbled the ticket like an idiot π
glad I'm not the only one who asked dumb questions, thanks GoldenGirlSpins and BankrollMathHunter89 for the breakdown, cheers that helps.
Honestly the bright slots don't bother me much, I kind of expect it on a new floor. The friendly cage staff is a bigger deal to me than people think, makes cashing out way less nerve-wracking for a new player like me. Still haven't made it out to Pickering myself but it's moving up my list π anyone find the floor dead on weeknights or worth the trip anytime?
