First walk into Pickering Casino Resort
Only been to Pickering once so far and honestly I got turned around twice trying to find my way back to the tables π
the floor just keeps going past the entrance. Is the cage easy to find when you want to cash out, or is that another hike too? Might grab a double-double and make a proper trip of it next time β

ha, the getting turned around part took me right back to my first visit there. i did the same thing, wandered off following the slot rows and ended up on the far side of the floor wondering how i got that far from the pits. that place just keeps unfolding past the entrance, you can't see the half of it from the door.
cage is fine though, don't sweat it. it's findable once you've done it once, and honestly walking a bit after a good session never hurt anybody π my advice for a newbie like yourself, Sam: on your way in, pick a landmark, one of the table pits or whatever, and anchor to it. saved me more than once. the floor being big works for you too, more machines spread out means less shoulder-to-shoulder hunting for a seat on a busy night. i like that about it, reminds me a bit of the old big rooms where you could actually breathe between spins.
It's all hit and busted before, folks.
Same thing happened to me π
question, when you cash out at the cage do you just walk up with your chips or do they want your player card too? Maybe I'm being dumb but I don't wanna get stuck wandering again
New here, soaking it up.
Chips are fine at the cage, no player card needed. You walk up, hand over your chips, they count and pay. Card only matters if you want your play tracked or you're redeeming points.
Only tip I'd give, and I've lost enough afternoons in those slot rows to know, is figure out where the cage sits before you get deep into the floor. Same reason I used to park a mental pin at the pit I started at. The floor there sprawls past what you can see from the door, so it's easy to end up on the far side with a pocket full of chips and no clue which way is out π once you've done one loop it clicks. First time I cashed out there I took the scenic route too, no shame in it.
I remember the old slots first-hand.
Good to know chips alone work at the cage π
I got lost twice too, those slot rows just keep pulling you sideways. Beauty of it though, you find new tables every time π

First time I walked in there I honestly thought the entrance WAS the whole place, then I spotted the pits further back and my jaw dropped a bit π
love that you just wander and stumble onto new tables, sounds like my kind of spot. Anyone know if the slots area gets packed on weekend evenings?
