Gold Eagle Casino in North Battleford remembered my name, anyone else?
Cashier remembering your name before you even reach the window, that's the kind of floor I grew up on, back when the machines that used to pay actually paid. No line on a Saturday night is the real shocker though, walk out of some big city pits and you're queuing twenty minutes to get your cheque. Nice little trip by the sound of it 😄
I remember the old slots first-hand.
Right?? I was braced for a queue and the cashier just sorted me out before I finished walking over 😄 makes the drive out there feel worth it honestly.

A cashier who remembers names and a cheque in hand sounds nice, but I'd still want to see the machine side paying before calling it a good floor. Did the slots actually pay anyone that night?
Cashout screenshot or it didn't happen.
RTPTracker has a point, the machines need to actually cough it up or the friendly cage don't mean much. But I've been through this cycle before, and honestly a small floor with a short memory for faces usually treats you better than the big boxes, even if the slots run cold some nights. turned 50 into 5k once at a joint about that size, never forgot how they paid me quick and never made me feel like a suspect 😄 worth the drive for me.

Honestly a two minute cashout on a Saturday feels like the real jackpot here 😄 but RTPTracker I get the doubt, was anyone actually hitting on the floor that night or was it just the cage doing all the paying? I'd take friendly service over a cold floor any day though, guess I'm easy to please lol

Fair question from RTPTracker, and honest answer is I only saw one fella near the machines looking pleased with himself, rest of the floor was quiet. But here's my two cents from turning 50 into 5k once and giving half of it back: a cage that remembers your name and pays you in two minutes flat on a Saturday tells you how the place is run, and cold slots on one night happen everywhere. I'd drive back just for that 😄
Busted more than you've deposited 😉
Maybe I'm being dumb here but does a two minute cashout even count as rare? Every cage I've ever lined up at in Winnipeg was fast once you actually got there, the wait was the whole thing. So was there a line when you walked up or did you just show up at a dead hour and get lucky? 😄
Learning to clear wagering, go easy 🙏
i swear, whether there was a line or not, if the cage service is that kind of tight, it really makes the trip worthwhile. used to go places where the slot machines themselves took forever to cough up decent money, you know, back when you played those older ones, the ones that used to pay. but you could grind till your legs were dead and still feel like the casino actually respected you.

RngGod_Chaser kinda has a point though 😅 no line on a Saturday night in North Battleford? Either luckiest timing ever or the floor was dead, eh.

@Steve_YYZ Or maybe it was between events, a hockey night in town pulls everyone to the rink first and the floor empties out. I've hit small Saskatchewan rooms at odd hours and had the same experience, whole place to myself. Funny how the quiet nights are when a cage actually talks to you like a person.
I keep my own spin/hit spreadsheet 📊
honestly a saturday night with no line sounds like a gift, but small floors swing both ways, one busy hour and that cage backs up quick. i've walked into places like that where you're third in line and it's still friendly, and places triple the size where nobody knows your name. so what was the floor like when you got there, humming or half asleep? 😄
Been grinding longer than some have played.
Never been to Gold Eagle myself but a cage remembering your name after one visit would make me come back for sure 😄 the small floor thing makes sense though, dead quiet on a Saturday might be luck more than anything. Maybe I'm being dumb asking this but did they actually comp you anything for coming back, or just the friendly service? 🤷
