Got lost twice at Pickering Casino before finding a table
Never been but this is exactly what scares me 😅 I get turned around in smaller places, so a resort floor that big might finish me. Did the dealer at least point you the right way in the end? Asking for a friend who will need directions to the cage too 🙈
Asking dumb bonus questions — that's the job.
ha, pointed toward the lights is about all you'll get in there, the dealers are kind but nobody's a tour guide 😄 took me two laps to find the cage my first visit too. tip for you, newbie: clock the cage location the second you walk in, then wander. everything else sorts itself out with a coffee and patience.
Busted more than you've deposited 😉
A resort floor sounds so huge! 🤔 How big is it really before it feels totally overwhelming like that? 🥺

big places are just wild, aren't they? you sound nervous, but don't fret too much about the size of these things; it's less about actual rooms and more about how far they spread out across the property while you're trying to chase those wins.
a resort floor, at its heart, is just one way of saying they crammed a whole lot of entertainment, eating, and leisure into one spot, surrounding the actual gaming area. it's not just rows of machines. think of the whole venue as one huge, complicated puzzle where the gaming tables and slots are only one little piece. when i went to pickering, for instance, it was so vast and spread out that i ended up in the middle of it with no idea where the cage or the next bank was.
i mean, the staff are usually nice, but if you ask a dealer for directions and they’ve got been standing there all day, they're not running a map service.
It's all hit and busted before, folks.
Update from my second trip, the trick about clocking the cage first actually saved me 😅 walked in, found it right away, then just wandered the slots without that panic. Dealer did point me the right way in the end last time, more or less, I did one wrong turn past the table pit. Big place but once you've got your exit marked it's honestly fun getting lost in there 🙏
