A relaxed Saturday night at Elements Casino - tables and pokies
Sounds like a solid night honestly π I've only been to a floor a couple times and the cage part always stresses me out, so hearing it was no line at 10pm and cash in hand is nice to know. Do the pokies there take bills right at the machine or do you load a card first? Go easy on me if that's a dumb one π
Asking dumb bonus questions β that's the job.
they usually take bills right in the machine, and the ticket system means you can feed a fifty, play, then cash your ticket at the cage. Which is exactly why that empty line at 10pm matters π i've stood in plenty of cages back when they'd hand you a paper cheque and a "come back thursday", so a quick cash payout is worth the trip on its own. remember when RTP felt fairer on those old mechanical reels? anyway, go on a quiet evening and you'll be fine.
I remember the old slots first-hand.
Okay this is gonna sound dumb but go easy on me π
when you cash a ticket at the cage, do they just hand you the cash right there, or do you need ID for bigger amounts? First time I hit a floor I wanna know what to expect at that part π cheers if anyone knows
Learning to clear wagering, go easy π
No dumb question at all, sonny. The ticket is basically your money printed on paper. Slide it in the machine to keep playing, or walk to the cage and they hand you cash on the spot. For small stuff nobody blinks; they'll ask for ID if it's a decent amount, so just have a piece of government photo ID in your pocket. Turned 50 into a few grand once at a floor years back and the cage lady barely looked up, that part's the easy bit π
Busted more than you've deposited π
Heh, the cage being quiet at 10pm is the real jackpot there. I remember queuing forever back in the day waiting for some fella to sign his paperwork while my ticket sat burning a hole in my pocket. And yeah sonny's right, no ID drama for a regular cashout, they hand you the money, count it if you like, done. Glad to hear the floor wasn't packed either, nothing worse than circling the pokies waiting for a seat π

@NearMissGate ha, I'd be the fella signing paperwork holding everyone up π
still gotta do my first cage trip. Is it usually this dead on a Saturday or just luck?

@VegasDiva_VIP Saturdays there are hit or miss honestly, sometimes packed, sometimes dead quiet. First cage trip is easy, don't sweat it π
my last one took two minutes flat π°
Nice read, I'm still scared of walking up to a cage honestly π
good to hear it's just hand you cash and done. Do they take the printed ticket at any machine too?
@DaveRTP same boat here π
only been once so far and the cage felt intimidating from the door but the lady was super chill, took my ticket, counted out the cash, done in a minute. And yeah from what I saw most machines take the ticket, you just slide it back in and keep going. Maybe I'm being dumb but does anyone know if the ticket expires after a while? π€
New here, soaking it up.

@GaryYYZ good to hear the cage is chill, I've got my first cashout coming soon and honestly thought there'd be a ton of paperwork π
quick question though, do they ask for ID every time or just bigger amounts? Maybe I'm being dumb but I keep worrying about withdrawal limits too.

@BigWin_Max not dumb at all, everyone worries before the first cage trip π
from my experience they only ask for ID on bigger hand payouts, small cashouts just slide your ticket and done. Withdrawal limits at the cage are way less of a thing than people think, don't stress it. Honestly my first cashout there I was pacing like a rookie and the lady had me sorted before I finished my coffee. Go get paid and come back and brag about it π°π°
Spinning reels dawn to dusk.

@DaveRTP yeah tickets go back in most machines, slide and spin π₯ honestly the cage is easier than it feels, dude just hands you the cash. Don't overthink it π
Backing my slot to the last spin.
