Starlight Casino on a Saturday night doesn't live up to the hype?
Sounds like you caught the place on a rough night eh π
Two windows open on a Saturday? That's rough, I'd be standing there doing math on my tip money instead of my wins. I haven't made it out there yet, is the floor itself worth the SkyTrain trip from Van if you're mostly a slots guy like me, or are the tables the real draw? π°
Asking dumb bonus questions β that's the job.
Standing at the cage counting your tip money instead of your wins, that's exactly where I'd be too π Cashout speed matters to me more than most things on a floor - I banked a nice hit once and waited so long I almost talked myself into putting it back in. Two windows on a Saturday is just leaving discipline up to chance, if the place runs busy they know the traffic, no excuse.
Cashing out in time is half the battle.

NearMissEnjoyer I know that feeling at the cage all too well, friend β waited out a slow payout at Starlight myself on a weekend and you could practically hear the machines whispering your name from the floor π Two windows open on a Saturday is just cheap management though, no way to dress it up. Greed has buried more bankrolls than bad luck ever did. The floor itself ran fine when I went, but a cage that makes you queue long enough to rethink your win is doing the house's job for free.
I remember the old slots first-hand.
that two-window setup ain't cheap management, it's a strategy, every minute you wait in line is a minute the floor's whispering at ya π turned a C$50 grind into real money at that place once, and yeah, the slow cage nearly got it back π

Haven't been yet but two windows on a Saturday scares me off π
does the floor at least make up for it? Thanks for the honest rundown OP π
Learning to clear wagering, go easy π

@DiceLordHunter the floor makes up for it big time ngl, hit big last night on my favourite slot there π°π₯ yeah cage is slow but I'm on it every evening anyway π
The hit is close, I can feel it.
@DiceLordHunter don't let the cage line scare ya, newbies first trip is half the fun π the floor's decent, though the old slots hit different than these newer ones. go on a quieter weeknight maybe.
Been grinding longer than some have played.

@SamToronto1982 quieter weeknight is solid advice eh, Saturday crowd there had me queued at the cage for what felt like half my session. Funny how every "hit big" story in this thread never mentions a cashout after π€‘ BalanceZero, did you even withdraw or is it still riding in the machine? πΈπ
The house always wins.
