First visit to Pickering Casino Resort last weekend
took the missus out to pickering a few weekends back and i'll say it straight, whoever laid that floor out knew what they were doing. turned a loonie into a small win on the old three-reelers decades ago at a dive up north, and back then you'd fight through a wall of cabinets just to smell a blackjack table. here the table pit sits in its own zone, slot banks off to the sides, you can actually walk a straight line instead of slaloming through a herd of spinner-chasers 😄
cashed out at the cage without any song and dance too, which after some places i've been is a small miracle. only knock for me, gets a bit loud near the slot banks, but that's every floor going. newbie heading out there? do one lap before you plant yourself anywhere. old-school grind tip, free of charge 😉
Busted more than you've deposited 😉
zones actually split up like that is rare, most places cram slots right against the pit. walked the floor there myself, cashed a decent hit at the cage and booked it 🎰
Cashing out in time is half the battle.
That split layout sounds like a dream honestly 😅 first time I went I just wandered around and the table pit being its own spot made it so much easier to find a blackjack seat without pushing through a wall of slots. Quick dumb question though, when you cashed out at the cage, did they ask for ID? Got a small win coming and wanna be ready 🙏 cheers, that helps if you fill me in!
Asking dumb bonus questions — that's the job.
Yes, cage asked for my ID both times I cashed out there. AGCO-licensed place, so expect the same. Layout is genuinely the best part.
Cashout screenshot or it didn't happen.
Was there on a Saturday myself and the split layout actually saved my bankroll, walked in with a set amount for spins, hit a decent run on one of the slot banks, and because the tables are off in their own zone I didn't get sucked into "one blackjack hand" impulse on the way to the cage. Cashed out and was out the door before I could talk myself back in. Cashing out in time is everything, and that floor makes it easy to do the smart thing eh.
To the ID question - yeah, they asked me too, both cage visits. Watched a guy ahead of me get waved through quick with a licence, no drama. Only knock from me: the slot banks near the pit side got busy later in the evening, the quieter banks pay attention-wise were the same either way if you ask me 😅
500x one day, zero the next. Classic.
Same cage experience here. ID every time, no shortcuts. Layout is legit, though the slots still ate my C$ budget faster than I'd like to admit.
Licence first, deposit after.
Kinda funny how the split layout works on you without noticing, I did my spins in the slot banks, cashed a ticket at the cage, and only on the walk back realized I never once got funneled past the tables like at most floor designs. That's deliberate, and my bankroll thanked me for it 😅💸

Been through this cycle before with new casino floors, some fancy layout, same old machines eating my C$ in an hour. But I'll give Pickering this much: walked the slot banks, found a blackjack seat without a single detour, and the cage line moved quick. Layout like that used to be rare back when the old rooms paid fairer too 😉
I remember the old slots first-hand.

Seriously though, maybe the slots don't 'eat' your budget, maybe they just reward the lucky! You gotta embrace the action; I was stoked last night when I hit a run on my favourite machine and banked like C$500! 🔥🎰 It's all about those big wins ngl, and the atmosphere is always action here 🤑.

That C$500 sounds amazing! But even if it's luck, how easy is it really to get all of that money out? 🙏 Maybe I'm being dumb already asking about cashout? 😬

@SinceRegular, the layout design is probably just meant to herd you into the slot section before you wander over to the tables. You got lucky this time though finding a breather there. Every single 'win on paper' is just the house deciding not to bust you yet. 💸
A paper win won't feed you.
