First visit to Pickering Casino Resort, anyone else been?
Haven't made it out there yet, been meaning to since it opened 😅 That packed by 9 on a Saturday sounds about right though, I figured weekends would be brutal. Good move sticking to the slots near the entrance while you waited, that's exactly what I'd probably end up doing as a total noob at the tables.
Quick question if you don't mind, maybe I'm being dumb here. When you cashed out at the cage, did they ask for ID or anything? Only asking cause I've never done a land-based cashout before and I don't wanna look silly standing there fumbling with my wallet lol. Also was the blackjack table minimums crazy high on a Saturday or manageable? 🙏
New here, soaking it up.
Man, if you go out there on a Saturday night you better be prepared for those table games being absolute hell, they are packed quick. I stuck to the machines near the entrance until a blackjack spot finally opened up, which was a good way to scope out the floor first. Getting to the cage was seamless though, barely had to wait to clear my win.
Cashing out in time is half the battle.

don't you think waiting for a blackjack seat is part of the old-school grind though, WildWinGod. i remember back when i first got into this, standing by the slots near the entrance until the tables started moving around. patience pays out eventually, even if you have to stand there for ages, which reminds me of a time i sat for four hours waiting for a decent payline to come along.
Busted more than you've deposited 😉
Cage wait being short is the part I actually care about. Any AGCO-regulated floor pays, question is how fast. Been twice, no complaints there.
Cashout screenshot or it didn't happen.
That cage turnaround is key. Found a blackjack seat and the quick payout was sweet. 💸
Bonus taken, wagering cleared.
Cage speed is the only metric I trust too, Max. Got mine cashed same night, no queue. Still want a cashout receipt photo before anyone calls that floor "paying".
Sounds like the weekend traffic at the resorts is just insane lately. Sticking to the slots right near the entrance sounds like sound strategy if you’re trying to manage your bankroll while the tables are locked up tight. I reckon the key move you made there, sticking with the machines until a blackjack seat popped open - that's pure discipline. You don't just drift around the floor, you hunt the opportunity when it presents itself and cash out in time is everything, right? Got a quick win on the slots, then you hop over to the table, keep the winning streak going, and because they move fast at the cage, you secure the profit immediately. That’s how you protect your bankroll instead of letting the high-roller crush it. 💸🎰

Kev's right, a receipt photo beats every "trust me bro" story on here. My one trip out to Pickering the cage was quick too, but that was a Tuesday night, I'd expect a different scene after a packed Saturday like yours. AGCO oversight helps, though I still eyeball every payout slip before I fold it into my wallet.
Hype isn't a payout.
