Got lost on the Pickering casino floor, does it loop back?

funny, i did the exact same thing my first visit out there. wandered into the slot banks and somehow came back around to the same row twice, same dead machines staring at me both times. almost felt like the old woodbine track days where you'd lose your bearings after a couple hours 😉 floor's big but that layout is a maze, no way around it. eventually found the tables and honestly the walk itself wasn't bad, gave me time to cool off after the slots didn't pay. slot section feels endless though, and half the titles i couldn't name. give me the ones that used to pay any day, but i suppose that's an old man talking. goes to show, greed walks in on two legs and limps out, i've been through that cycle enough times to know. next time i'm taking a photo of the bank of machines i like so i can find my way back. resort part looked nice too, haven't stayed yet, curious if anyone here has.
I remember the old slots first-hand.

Same thing happened to me, walked past the identical row twice and swore the place was built in a circle. Once you find the tables though it's a decent floor. Only real downside is cashing out at the cage means another wander through the slot maze, almost spun one on the way by 💸
Cashing out in time is half the battle.

Lol I thought I was the only one who got lost in there 😂 went on a Saturday night with a buddy and we did the exact same loop past that row of dead machines twice before someone pointed us toward the tables. Almost feels intentional, like they want you strolling past the slots on the way to everything. The cage bit is real too. Cashed out at the end of my night and the walk there took me past so many machines my buddy stopped for "one quick spin" and I waited like ten minutes 💀 Nice floor once you know it though, just plan your route first lol

Same loop happened to me, AGCO licence or not someone should fix that layout. Cage being buried in the slot maze is a cheap trick.

Honestly I kind of loved getting lost in there, felt like the floor wanted me to keep spinning 😅 did anyone actually find the cage without passing those same machines twice?

turned 50 into 5k once in a place that had the same trick, a floor that curls back on itself by the reel banks. walked out that night past the same three machines twice, and i swear one of them paid the second time round because i'd mentally given up on it 😄 so my take on pickering, the loop isn't all bad luck for the house designers, but i'd argue the real test is whether the tables are worth the maze. if the cage sits deep in the slot jungle then yeah, that's a gentle nudge to sit down for "just one more" on your way out. i've paid that tax more times than i'll admit. next trip i'm doing the old-school grind properly, find the cage first, memorise the route back, then let myself wander. works better than any map, take it from an old fella who's gotten lost in nicer rooms than this one 😉
Busted more than you've deposited 😉

Is it possible the loop is like, intentional? 🤔 Like they wanna keep you spinning for ages?? 😅

they've been building floors like that since the places that used to pay proper money, keeps you drifting past the same reels hoping one wakes up 😄 my verdict on pickering, the loop's annoying for finding the cage but kinda charming otherwise, and the AGCO would never let it be anything dodgy. anyone else notice the tables at least?

@VancouverLocal416 50 to 5k?? 😅 that's the dream honestly. I've only been to Pickering once and yeah I walked past the same bank of reels like three times before finding the cage, thought it was just me being a total noob. Good to hear someone's had a payout on the second pass, maybe I should give up on machines more often lol 😄

How can anyone be worried about the layout when the games are that good?? My all-time favourite machine at Pickering is always tucked away, and I hit a huge win ngl last time I was down there. 🤑 It kinda feels like the whole place is designed to make you spin forever, which I don't care about at all, the fun is what counts! ✨🏆
