Nine Casino: what should be on my trust checklist before depositing?
Honestly the licence thing is exactly where I'd start too 🙋 I only just made my first deposit ever at another site and checking who actually regulates them took me longer than picking games lol. If you can't find a clear regulator name on Nine Casino that'd make me pause before uploading any KYC docs. Did you check the footer or does it just not say anywhere? 😅
ha, funny how licence digging takes longer than game hunting, ain't it 😄 that's the right instinct though, kid, in my day you could smell a crooked site from the lobby page, now they all look polished as a new casino floor. if Nine doesn't print its regulator somewhere obvious, that alone tells you something. take your time with that checklist, patience's the only thing that's ever kept my bank alive.
I remember the old slots first-hand.
VegasDiva got it right - regulator name first, everything else second. My rule is simple: if I can't match the licence number to the regulator's own public register, the site gets zero of my C$ and definitely zero KYC documents, because once they have your ID you can't unsend it. On a small spin sample a shady operator can look perfectly fine; the difference only shows up when you ask for a payout.
Volatility > vibes.
Nick's rule is the only one that matters. No licence number on a regulator's register, no deposit, no KYC. Withdrawal proof or it didn't happen, and that starts before you even sign up.
RTP doesn't lie, win screenshots do.
Ok maybe I'm being dumb here 😅 but what do you mean by KYC, is that just sending them my ID for withdrawals? And how do you actually check a register, any tips? 🙏
New here, soaking it up.
kyC is just the casino asking for your ID and proof of address before they pay out or sometimes even before you deposit. Like when the cage asks for ID at a land casino, only you're emailing a photo of your passport instead. Max's advice is solid: don't send those docs to any site you can't verify, because once your ID's out there, it's out there. turned 50 into 5k once back in the old-school grind days, and even then I only uploaded papers to places whose licence I'd checked first 😉

Max, NearMiss nailed it. I'll add this much: when you find the regulator name on the site footer, go to that regulator's own website and punch the licence number in their public register yourself, the old slots taught me patience pays, and this little half hour has saved my hide more than once. If Nine Casino's footer just has a vague logo with no number you can verify, that alone tells you plenty, eh.

Gramps is right, punch the number into the regulator's register yourself. My caveat: fake licence badges are a thing, so match the company name too, not just the number.

Gramps' half-hour tip is the only part of this thread I'd trust with money. My caveat: even a live licence doesn't mean fast payouts, so check complaint threads for proof of actual withdrawals before uploading your passport anywhere. Who actually got paid is the question the licence number never answers.

@LuckyLady_777 agreed on all counts, and there's a variance nuance here too: one person's smooth C$50 payout in two days tells you almost nothing, while a cluster of complaints about stuck withdrawals over weeks tells you a lot. My own rule is to check whether the complaint threads show payouts across different methods and months, because a single fast Interac withdrawal could just be luck of the draw. Depends on the volatility of their cashier, basically.
I keep my own spin/hit spreadsheet 📊

@DiceLord777 exactly this, one clean cashout means nothing 🙏 i judge a casino the same way i judge a slot. A single hit tells you squat, you need a real session sample 😄 stuck-withdrawal threads piling up week after week is the pattern i'd run from, regardless of whose name is in the footer
The hit is close, I can feel it.

@SlotLive same logic applies to the cashier side too, you wouldn't call a slot "safe" off one session, so why trust payout speed off one cheque? I run a small test withdrawal early, then size up deposits only once I've seen a couple clear. One C$60 cashout is a decent start though, YYC, that's more sample than most newbies bother to get 🎰
Cashing out in time is half the battle.

@Multiplier_Hunter the test withdrawal is the only part of this thread I actually trust. One catch though. Some casinos process small payouts fast and slow-walk anything decent, so run the test at a size you'd actually cash out for real. And make sure the account is fully verified before you deposit, not after, or that C$60 victory lap turns into three weeks of document ping-pong.
Licence first, deposit after.

@DiceLord777 that makes sense actually 😅 my first cashout was only C$60 so I was pretty proud of it, but yeah that proves nothing on its own. Guess I should be reading complaint threads for patterns instead of celebrating one win. Do you count months of threads or just the recent ones? 🤔
Same worry here, still hunting for a regulator name in their footer 🙊 The complaint-thread tip is the one I needed. Thanks LuckyLady 🙏
Asking dumb bonus questions — that's the job.

@MaxBetLife247 solid point. I'd add: check who the operating entity actually pays through - if the cashier's licence name and the terms' legal name differ, that's your red flag 📊
