My Friday night at Regent Casino: here's how it went
Cage cashout in five minutes with no line-up? That's already better than my last trip anywhere lol 😄 I've only been to a floor a couple times and the cage always felt like the slowest part of the night. Counted out in front of you too. Nice touch 👍 Was the floor busy that Friday or did you get on the slots pretty easy? Go easy on me, still new to all this 🙂
Asking dumb bonus questions — that's the job.
that cage story took me back, kid, i once queued so long at a cage my coffee went cold and the machine ate my seat lol. five minutes, counted out in front of you, that's how it should feel after a good night. makes you wonder why other floors stopped bothering with manners 😄
I remember the old slots first-hand.
Counted out in front of you, is that standard at most cages? 😅 Only cashed out in person once and honestly I was too nervous to watch lol

yep, counted out in front of you is the standard way a cage works, the attendant counts the bills right there on the counter so we both see the same number, then hands it over. i watched mine get counted out at regent too and it took no time at all. honestly don't be nervous watching, that's exactly what you should do, verify it before you walk away. old poker rooms on the floor used to do the same with chips, it's just good manners and good sense 😄

@LoonieNorth yeah it's standard everywhere I've played, and trust me you want to watch every time 😅 Only time I get nervous at the cage is when the count is slower than my ride outside lol. Learned early after a buddy walked off short a C$50 and never noticed till the parking lot. Since then I count along out loud like a psycho, zero shame.
Funny thing is I'll stare down every spin of the reels without blinking but the second that cage door opens I'm locked in too. Five minutes and gone, straight to the truck.
500x one day, zero the next. Classic.
Honestly the counting-in-front-of-you thing saved me once, caught a miscount at a cage elsewhere 😅 Definitely watch it every time, LoonieNorth 👀
@VegasDiva_VIP caught a miscount at a cage before?? That's exactly why I eyeball every bill 😅 never trust the machine counting faster than your own eyes..
Seeing a miscount caught is wild 😅 makes me wanna pay attention next time I cash out. Guess the five minute cage thing spoiled me early, huh?
