Gateway Casino visit analysis
went to a Gateway spot a few weekends back and honestly the open floor layout threw me at first, in a good way 😄 found my way from the slots to the tables without doing laps like at some places. anyone else find it easy to move around there or do you prefer the more maze-y casinos?
Asking dumb bonus questions — that's the job.
Open floors cut both ways though, eh? Sure you can walk the cage in a straight line, but there's nowhere to hide when a machine next to you is screaming dead all night. Give me a bit of a maze myself, the old slots hit different when you can lose in peace 😄
It's all hit and busted before, folks.
Open floor works both ways IMO, easy to find the tables but you also see every losing screen from 30 feet away lol. Last trip out there I cleared wagering on a free play promo (in-house comp, not online stuff) and walked it straight to the cage, no wandering. Only knock is dead slots near the entrance seem to eat more than the ones tucked deeper in. 💸
Cashing out in time is half the battle.
Open layout just means everyone watches me tilt on one more spin, promise 😂 walked my last C$ of it straight to the cage too lol
Maybe I'm being dumb but I actually like the open floor, first time at one of the Gateway spots I found the cage in like two minutes 😅 GoldenGirl has a point though, no hiding when your machine's dead and the whole row hears it. Guess it depends if you're the type to tilt in public lol
New here, soaking it up.
