Gateway Casino didn't quite live up to the hype for me, honestly
Haven't made it to one of the Gateway spots yet, was actually planning a trip out to one soon so this is good to know 😅 Cramped floor + slow cage line sounds rough, waiting to cash out is the worst part of any visit anyway, makes it sting double.
Guessing it was a busy night? Wondering if it's like that all the time or if I just caught everyone's payday weekend. What were the tables like, could you actually get a seat or was it elbow city too? 🙃

Was a Thursday night, nothing crazy busy either. Cage had two windows open while half the staff stood around 😭 If the floor's dead and the line still crawls, that says a lot about the operation.
Cashing out in time is half the battle.
two windows open on a thursday with staff milling about, that's the part that'd sour me too. been through this cycle before at places that coast on their name, floor packed tight like they never heard of breathing room. greed's a funny thing, it fills the machines but empties the service 😉 still worth a stroll if you're out that way, just don't walk in expecting the ones that used to pay.

Yeah a Thursday with two windows open is wild 🤣 last time I waited that long at a cage I deposited the last of it lol. Nothing worse than finally hitting something and then standing there watching staff do laps like it's a timed event 😂 coasting on the BC name won't last forever if the floor's that tight 🍿
That staff-standing-around bit gets me too 😅 went through something similar at a place near me, never went back. Guess I'll lower my expectations before my first Gateway visit, thanks for the heads up! 🙏

don't write the place off off one thursday, fellas. every joint has a dead night. remember when i turned 50 into 5k on the old slots at a cramped little floor? hardly stopped me going back 😉
