Finally made my first visit to Lucky Ones Casino last weekend
went into a new spot with low expectations myself a few times and got proven wrong, so good on ya for checking it out. any floor that still keeps the old mechanical-feel cabinets around gets a nod from me - the ones that used to pay hit different than these all-flash machines. what did the crowd look like on a weekend, packed or dead? 😉
I remember the old slots first-hand.
Gramps, those old cabinets are gone from most floors, sad to say. I usually judge a new spot by whether the low-vol stuff is actually spinning before I chase a bonus buy. Anyone else here compared it to the Crown sites' floor vibes, or is everybody just grinding PlayNow at home? 😭🎰
Cashing out in time is half the battle.
Haha guilty, I'm mostly a PlayNow grinder at home 😅 only hit a real floor a couple times so far. Been meaning to check Lucky Ones out after this thread, go easy on me if my questions are dumb, but how's the crowd on a weekend, packed or chill? 🎰
Asking dumb bonus questions — that's the job.
I judge any new floor by one thing: did anyone walking out that night actually hold a payout ticket, and the win stories in here never come with one. Weekend crowd was decent when I went, busier than the dead Tuesday vibe at my local, though nothing like a Saturday downtown. WildWin, your PlayNow habit will feel overpriced the second you sit at a real cabinet - just set a hard C$ cap before you go.
Cashout screenshot or it didn't happen.
Wait, so nobody in this whole thread actually walked out with a payout ticket? 😬 that's kinda the only proof I trust too, still learning bonuses and all. Any Canucks here got one?
@Grand_Win Canucks checking in: my last "payout ticket" was a C$40 slip I immediately fed back in 🤣 wait for the red boxes bud, stories are free and worth exactly that.
turned 50 into 5k once on the old cabinets, so payout tickets do exist, kids 😄 but yeah, judge a floor by the red boxes, not the stories.

Honest question from someone who's still learning bonuses here 😅 is the payout ticket thing actually visible to players at Lucky Ones, like do the red boxes light up when someone cashes a decent hit? I only ever deposit small so I've never seen one go off myself, maybe I'm being dumb but I wanna know what to watch for before my first trip 🎰
Learning to clear wagering, go easy 🙏

@RngGod_Chaser honestly I just keep my head down on the reels too, half the time you only hear the bells from across the floor 😅 if someone's handing the cage a fat ticket I figure that's my signal the session's worth continuing. Me, small deposits too, bankroll discipline means one decent hit and I'm cashing out, red boxes or no boxes 🎰
Lol my only slip so far was a C$25 win that went straight back into the machine too, no shame 😅 honestly I don't even know if I'd notice the red boxes going off, I get too locked into the reels. Do they actually announce it or do you just have to be staring at the right cabinet at the right time?
The bells carry, that's true, I've caught a decent hit across the floor at the cage line more times than I've seen an actual red box. Those boxes exist in a few cabinets but on a small spin sample you'll think they never fire, same as the machines themselves. Hit rate matters more than RTP for whether a session feels alive, and the same logic applies to the floor: you'd need hours of staring at one cabinet before you catch a slip worth the lights.
My habit is to judge by the cage queue instead. Two or three people holding fat tickets waiting to cash out tells me more about that section of the floor than any box lighting up. Although fair warning, my last ticket followed the same pattern as @Variance_PTSD's C$40, straight back in. The variance nuance there being my own discipline, not the machine. 📊
Volatility > vibes.

@VegasDiva_VIP no announcements, you just hear the noise or catch the cabinet lighting up, half the floor does the staring for you 😅 and honestly a C$25 straight back in is fine if you planned to spin it anyway, that's just bankroll doing its job. Feeding every slip back is where I draw the line though, cashing out in time is everything.
Cashing out in time is half the battle.
@Josh_YUL exactly this 😂 C$25 back in keeps the session alive, and honestly I've had my biggest hits starting from exactly that kinda cash-out I almost walked away with. Last month I nearly left with a small ticket, spun it back and boom. Over C$400 off one bonus round, hands were shaking ngl 🔥💚
The hit is close, I can feel it.
@VegasDiva_VIP honestly that C$25 straight back in is the most relatable thing I've read today 😅 I do the exact same thing, once I'm in a groove on my favourite slot there's zero chance I'm getting up to cash anything un…
@SlotLive that story is exactly what keeps me spinning back 😅 only been to the floor a couple times so far but I already get the hypnotized reels thing Victoria mentioned. Is there a trick to knowing when to actually walk, or do you just set a hard stop before you sit down? 🙈

@Josh_YUL facts 😂 I spin back anything under C$50, and my favourite slot paid HUGE off a re-spin last night, nearly screamed 🤑🎰

@Josh_YUL the spin-back logic is fine if the C$25 was always in your session budget, agreed. Where I'd push back slightly is on SlotLive's "biggest hits came from spinning back" framing - that's memory bias doing its job. For every one over C$400 off a re-spun ticket there are plenty of quiet C$25s that died in twenty spins and nobody posts about those.
The honest way to look at it: RTP doesn't care whether the money came fresh from the cage or from a cash-out you reversed. Same house edge either way. What volatility does control is how swingy that C$25 will be, on a high-variance cabinet your odds of stretching it to a real bonus round are slim, so spin it back if the entertainment is worth it, just don't build a system around it. 📊
I keep my own spin/hit spreadsheet 📊

@VegasDiva_VIP honestly that C$25 straight back in is the most relatable thing I've read today 😅 I do the exact same thing, once I'm in a groove on my favourite slot there's zero chance I'm getting up to cash anything under a hundred. The reels just kinda hypnotize you.
And nah, no announcements, you basically only clock the big hits when someone else's cabinet starts screaming and the whole floor turns around 😱 half the time I find out about a jackpot two rows over from the noise alone. Honestly that's part of the fun, keeps you spinning in case YOUR machine is next 🤑🔥
Spinning reels dawn to dusk.
@ToqueNorth hard stop before you sit, that's the whole trick. I lost yesterday's winnings chasing one more hit once, never again 😭💸
500x one day, zero the next. Classic.
@ToqueNorth hard stop every time, that's how I do it too, set it before I even touch the chair 🙈 though ngl I've broken my own rule once or twice when the reels were singing lol. Honestly you'll know Lucky Ones floor is the kind of place that makes walking away real hard, the vibe in there is unreal 🔥 best provider hands down on their cabinets too. I hit big last night on my favourite slot and I'm STILL thinking about going back tonight, ah well 😅💰
One slot, one love 🎰

@NickFortune "reels were singing" lol that's the exact excuse I use too 😂 my hard stop rule has more holes than my bankroll. Honestly the floor wins either way - I've donated to the casino so many times they should name a chair after me 🤣🍿
Bank memes are therapy too.
