Finally hit Gold Horse Casino, that carpet is a workout
First trip to an actual casino floor ever and my feet are already filing a complaint 😂 That carpet at Gold Horse did something to my eyes after an hour too. And whoever planned the slot layout definitely wanted people lost

Felt the same, first time at Gold Horse I walked a full loop past the pokies twice before a regular literally walked me to the cage 😭 The carpet's loud but honestly the floor paying beats the layout. Would your machine have hit if you'd found it faster? Mine didn't 💸
ha, a full loop past the pokies twice, that's about my pace too, first few trips I treated that floor like a corn maze with a carpet problem 😄
honest answer to your question though: no, faster wouldn't have saved my machine. been through this cycle before. The ones that used to pay, you could smell when a bank was warm. these newer cabinets don't care if you're standing there at 8pm or midnight, they pay when they feel like it. turned 50 into 5k once on an old three-reeler back in the day and you knew why it hit. now i just wander, get lost on purpose, let a regular point me at the cage when it's time. the maze grows on you, kinda. your carpet eyes though. Those never go away 😉
I remember the old slots first-hand.
Corn maze with a carpet problem sums it up. One tip: find the cage early, so you know your way out with cash instead of wandering broke.
Cashout screenshot or it didn't happen.
Got lost twice there myself the last trip, ended up circling back past the same row of dead pokies before a regular just pointed over his shoulder and said cage is that way 😂 Did give'r one more lap for a machine that was paying earlier. Didn't hit, walked to the cage anyway. Cashing out in time is everything when the floor is built like a maze.
Cashing out in time is half the battle.
RTPTracker's tip is the only one worth taking - I do a cage recon first thing every visit, before a single spin. Funnel that carpet does to your feet otherwise.
RTP doesn't lie, win screenshots do.
WhaleLive567's cage recon trick saved me last trip 😭 I did the opposite, hunted a machine that was paying earlier for a good twenty minutes through that maze and came up dry, feet screaming on that carpet by the time I found the cage. Now I clock the exit before my first spin - cost me one sore-foot lesson to learn it 🎰💸
500x one day, zero the next. Classic.
Sounds like everyone gets lost there at least once 😂 I'm gonna do the cage recon thing next trip for sure, thanks for that tip!
