Before I drive out to Betty Casino
Never been to Betty myself but I'm curious too, going for my first in-person visit soon-ish and honestly the cage question freaks me out more than the slots 😅 do they check ID right at the door or only when you cash out? And is parking decent or should I just bus it? Any first impressions from folks who've been would help heaps 🙏
Asking dumb bonus questions — that's the job.
id at the door in most places up here, and it's usually quick, show it once, they wave you in, then again at the cage if you're cashing out anything decent. parking honestly varies by property so i'd check their site before you bus it, but that's me 😄
my old-school checklist: watch the cage for ten minutes before you play. if folks are getting paid without drama, you're fine. and bring your own patience - first casino trips burn money faster than a bonus buy on a dead slot. turned 50 into 5k at a place like that once, then politely handed half of it back over the next two visits. the vibe you want is calm dealers and a floor that doesn't feel rushed. if it feels sketchy walking in, trust your gut and walk back out. have fun with it 😉
I remember the old slots first-hand.
Quick question, maybe I'm being dumb, when you say cashing out anything decent at the cage, how do they define "decent"? 🤔 Asking so I don't panic at the cage 😅
New here, soaking it up.
"decent" is just their threshold where they want ID and maybe a tax form filled out. Varies by venue so I wouldn't quote a number at you. Simple version: first time you cash out, expect to show ID regardless, takes two minutes. Turned a C$50 session into a nice payout at one place years back and the cage just smiled, checked my licence, paid me out 😄 don't sweat it, paranoid accountant energy is fine for the floor but the cage folks have seen worse than you.
I remember the old slots first-hand.
Gramps nailed it. My addition: watch the cage queue before you sit down anywhere, if nobody's paying out mid-week evening, that tells you plenty. Good luck at Betty.

Honestly the floor vibe tells you more than the cage queue imo, some nights at Betty the machines are just humming 🔥 my last decent hit there was a C$1,200 handpay and the ID thing took literally two minutes like Gramps …
@MaxBetLife247 cage queue tip is solid but mid-week evenings are quiet everywhere, don't overthink it lol. Betty's always action here anyway, machines humming most nights I'm in 🎰🔥 last session walked out up C$400 and the cage was dead quick. Check the drink service too, that's half the vibe 😅
One slot, one love 🎰
These replies are helping me too, I've got my ID charged up and ready 😅 My checklist so far: vibe at the door, cage queue, ask staff about wagering on floor promos. Anything I'm missing? 🙏
Learning to clear wagering, go easy 🙏

The hit is close, I can feel it.
Lol cage queue panic is overkill, Betty's ID line took me under five mins last time and I walked out up big that night 🔥 only tip I'd add: hit the machines near the bar, that's where my favourite slot pays best for me 🎰💰 drive safe and good luck!

@JackRTP same, machines by the bar been good to me too 🎰🔥 walked out up C$400 last week and the drinks were flying. Betty's my all-time favourite floor tbh, she just pays... 😤
Backing my slot to the last spin.
YYZ_19 has a point worth noting though: a C$400 night is a good night, not a trend. Volatility swings way harder than RTP suggests, so budget for the ride down accordingly. 📊
@PoutineHQ 😂 donate?? brother you're just feeding the machines before MY payouts lol. Betty's floor has been golden to me lately, keep em humming 🔥🎰
The hit is close, I can feel it.
@YYZ_19 cashed mine at the cage same night, tickets in hand lol. Betty's floor just hits different for me, on it every evening when I can 🔰🎰💰
@PoutineHQ "donated" 😂 mate I know that feeling, my last two Betty trips the machines basically sent the bankroll a thank-you card. But every so often a bonus round actually clears and you walk out with a fat ticket, that one hit covers three dead nights if you cash it same trip instead of feeding it back. Keep the discipline: once you're up, cage first, floor after. 💸🎰
500x one day, zero the next. Classic.

@Ben_Reels THIS. Cash that ticket same trip every time, learned that the hard way 🔥 My all-time favourite session at Betty's was like that. Dead all night then one bonus round cleared HUGE and I walked out grinning. Gonna be out there again this weekend, the floor's been golden lately 🤑🎰💰

@Ben_Reels thank-you card killed me 🤣 mine got cashed out so fast last trip the ATM still owes me an apology. Cashing same trip is the only rule I actually follow lol
One more spin, promise.
@MaxBetLifeEveryday lol that ATM bit got me 😅 same rule here honestly, I'm such a total noob still, but even I figured out fast that a ticket in your pocket is way too easy to "reinvest" if you sit back down. Last trip I cashed one and then my buddy talked me into one more round at the same machine... yeah, that went how you'd expect 😬
So if I'm driving out there, cage first, then decide if I feel like playing my own money again. Question for you though - does the cage usually have a line on weekends? Never cashed anything big enough to worry about it yet 🙏

I keep my own spin/hit spreadsheet 📊
Word is one of the high-vol cabinets out at Betty's is heating up this week, those who know, know 😏 keep the ticket cashing advice close though. My contact says the floor's been friendly to anyone walking in with a plan. See some of you out there 🤫
Word is… but you didn't hear it 🤫

@Josh_DoubleDouble2012 a "contact" saying the floor's friendly? that's casino hype dressed up as insider info. Heating up cabinets is how they get bodies in front of machines mid-week. If anyone actually walks out with a fat ticket, post the cashout slip — otherwise it's just advertising.
