Betty Casino cage gave me the runaround over a cheque cashout
That sounds like my worst nightmare 😅 I'm still new to this stuff (only made my first deposit a couple months back) and even I know a cheque cashout at the cage should be a straight answer, not a relay race between staff. Did anyone actually give you a reason, or just "let me check with someone"? 🙃
Asking dumb bonus questions — that's the job.
Nobody gives you a reason, they just pass you around until you give up 😭 that's the whole trick. When I cash a cheque at the cage I want one person saying yes or no on the spot, my bankroll sits frozen while they shuffle me around. Keep pushing for a name and a straight answer, feels like once you get someone accountable it usually moves. 🎰
been through this cycle before, and yeah - the shuffling IS the answer. i'd ask for the cage supervisor by name next time and get it in writing 😉
I remember the old slots first-hand.
Dead right that the shuffle is the answer 😭 same thing happened to me at a cage out here, asked about a cheque cashout, got handed from the till to a floor person to "someone who handles that" and ended up with zero actual info. What finally worked for me was showing up early on a weekday when the cage isn't slammed, one older supervisor dealt with me straight and I walked out with it sorted same trip.
Since then my rule is simple: cheque cashouts get handled in person, on a quiet morning, with the name of whoever told me yes. Bankroll sitting frozen while they do the "let me check" tour is worse than a dead session 💸🔥
Cashing out in time is half the battle.

@NearMissEnjoyer the cheque shuffle is legit their favourite cardio 😭 honestly just walk back in during a slow weekday morning, cage staff actually have time to talk then. Works for me every time eh
One slot, one love 🎰

@ChasingLosses_Merchant good tip about weekday mornings, I might actually need that soon 🙏 just got my first cheque cashout question coming up, do you ask for the supervisor straight away or only after the shuffle starts? 😅

Reading this thread as a total noob who hasn't even tried a cage cashout yet 😅 the "shuffle until you give up" pattern everyone's describing is honestly the scariest part. Gramps, getting it in writing sounds like the move — does that actually force them to give an answer or just cover your back later? Still learning this stuff, thanks for the tips 🙏

Maybe I'm being dumb but I didn't even know you could cash a cheque at the cage 😅 so if I ever try one, I should demand the supervisor right away? Thanks for the warning!
Learning to clear wagering, go easy 🙏

@Grand_Win no need to be scared of it, just walk in with a plan. The "shuffle" works because most people show up tired, after a session, at peak hours, and take the first stall as an answer. I've had two cheque cashouts in my life and both went smooth because I came in on a Tuesday morning, asked for the cage supervisor by name, and asked one question: "what's your process and how long does it take, in writing if possible." Nobody argued with me.
Think of it the same way you'd think about variance on a slot, one bad session at the cage tells you nothing about the venue, same way your spin sample is tiny. But documentation changes the whole dynamic: once there's a timestamp and a name on paper, "come back later" stops being a delay tactic and becomes a commitment. Don't demand a supervisor like a confrontation, ask for one the way an accountant would. Polite and boring wins at cages.
Volatility > vibes.

@HalifaxNorth that makes sense, walking in tired after a session is exactly how I'd do it lol 😅 maybe I'm being dumb but what does "walking in with a plan" actually mean for a first cheque cashout, like do I ask for a supervisor upfront or just be patient through the first stall? still learning bonuses and cashout stuff, sorry if that's basic 🙏
New here, soaking it up.
@Paul_Win an hour at the cage is standard stall tactics, they're hoping you get bored and wander back to the floor with it. I ask for the payout in cash whenever the amount allows, cheque means their paperwork owns you until you cash it. Anyone here actually got paid without a hassle, or is every Betty cage story a delay story?
RTP doesn't lie, win screenshots do.

@BigWin_Max not dumb at all, nobody teaches this stuff lol. Plan just means go in fresh, cashier first, machines later. Paul basically said it. If they stall you, just ask politely for a supervisor, no drama. Worst case you stand there like me holding a C$ cheque longer than my last relationship 😂
Same rule here - cage before the floor, always. Cashed out in time is everything, a cheque sitting in your pocket isn't a win yet 🔥
Cashing out in time is half the battle.
Cage before the floor is the way, learned that the hard way 🔥 Supervisor request worked fine for me when they tried stalling, dude folded in minutes 💰
Backing my slot to the last spin.

@ChasingLossesGate folded in minutes lol, congrats, they always do when you actually stand there. But did you even withdraw, or is that cheque still decorating your wallet? 😏
The house always wins.

@DaveReels fair jab but that's exactly why I always take the cash option even when they push the cheque. Last big hit I took from a cage I stood there and watched them count it twice, waited out every "one moment sir", and walked out with bills in my pocket. Cashing out in time is everything, a cheque is just their paperwork until you deposit it 💸
I'd rather lose ten minutes of floor time holding my ground at the counter than give them a chance to get me back on a machine with money I haven't actually touched yet 🔥
500x one day, zero the next. Classic.
@Bonus_God this is the way 🔥 I did the same thing last time I had a big hit, stood there through like three "one moment sir"s and just kept smiling at the cage lady til she paid out 🤑 my buddy took a cheque once and sweated the bank for days, never again. Cash in pocket hits different ngl 💰
Backing my slot to the last spin.
Back in the day I'd take the cheque because that's all they offered, and let me tell you, waiting a week for the bank to clear it taught me patience I didn't need 😄 cash every time now, even if the cage makes you stand there like a lost tourist while they count. DaveReels has a point though, a cheque in the wallet is just a promise, and I've had promises bounce before.
Busted more than you've deposited 😉

@VancouverLocal416 lol the "lost tourist" bit got me 😂 never took a cheque myself, cashed a solid hit at the cage last month and stood there grinning through the whole count, worth every awkward second. Cash in the pocket just feels real... cheque clearing? nah, I'd be refreshing my bank app like a maniac all week 😤

@Bonus_God cash beats paper every time, a win on paper, right, but did they let you withdraw? 😏 I sold a guy a car once who "won big" on a cheque that bounced two weeks later, so yeah I'm biased 🤡 Cheque's basically the house asking nicely to hold your money a little longer. 😂
A paper win won't feed you.
