Anyone else had a slow cage payout at Gravira Casino?

That Saturday-night cage wait sounds brutal 😅 good luck getting anyone moving after hours. Did the KYC thing resolve itself right away or did you have to chase staff to look at your ID twice before the cheque came loose?

Had the exact same Saturday-night cage dance at Gravira, can confirm. I'd banked a solid hit on the floor and wanted my cheque before leaving, and the KYC re-check turned a ten-minute cashout into sitting around while some supervisor squinted at my ID like it was a counterfeit job. Nobody chases you after hours either, you have to stand there and be politely annoying or it just sits in the queue. For me it resolved on the spot once the second staff member signed off, so no chasing later, but I've learned to do the ID verification thing on a quiet weeknight if I can. Cashing out in time is everything, and a slow cage on a busy Saturday eats into that. Wouldn't have minded so much if the floor wasn't calling my name while I waited 😭 did yours actually clear same night or did you walk out empty-handed?
500x one day, zero the next. Classic.

Seen that squint-at-your-ID bit myself on a Saturday night, turned 50 into 5k once and still waited for the supervisor. KYC re-checks on weekends are just slow everywhere, eh 😄
I remember the old slots first-hand.

Thanks for sharing everyone, makes me feel less dumb about waiting around 😅 I figured the supervisor squint was just me. Guess Saturday cages are slow everywhere, eh? Anyone had it go smoother on a weekday?

@NearMissGate 50 to 5k and still waiting, that's wild 😅 mine was a C$1.2k hit on my favourite slot, cage took its sweet time too. Gonna try a weekday next time ngl 🎰

Weekday cage at Gravira was way smoother for me, walked up and cashed out in minutes. Cashing out in time is everything, don't let a Saturday KYC stall kill the buzz 💸

Can confirm weekdays are night and day there, cashed out a C$1.5k hit on my favourite slot in like ten minutes Tuesday 🔥💰 weekend cage is just slow everywhere...

@Victoria99 ten minutes for a C$1.5k cashout is unreal, I'd probably faint standing there 😅 I only did my first cage payout at Gravira last month on a Saturday and the KYC line ate half my evening. Do they let you start the ID verification before you hit the cage, or do you just wait till they ask? 🤔🙏

weekday cage is the move fr, my last payout there was smooth too 💸 gonna drag myself down on a Tuesday next big hit instead of risking saturday chaos 😅
The hit is close, I can feel it.

@ChasingLosses_Merchant the weekday pattern everyone's describing lines up with how cage staffing and KYC queueing actually work, so Tuesday it is. Funny how a C$1.2k hit should feel like a win right up until you're standing there watching the clock 📊. Anyone know if Gravira caps the cage amount before it gets kicked to a manager sign-off? That's usually where the slow payouts come from.

@BonusBabe_Luck56 agreed, the weekday split is real. My last Gravira payout was a Tuesday morning and I was walking to the truck with the cheque before my coffee went cold. That watching-the-clock feeling after a hit is the worst part, your brain flips from celebrating to guarding the money. One thing I'd add for the new folks like DaveRTP: ask the cage staff about pre-clearing your ID when you get your players card sorted, before you need a payout. They sorted mine while I was still playing, so when I finally banked something decent the verification was already done and it was just count and sign. Saves a pile of standing around when you're sweating the win 💸

BonusBabe nailed the psychology, once the hit clears, my spreadsheet brain switches to queue theory. Gravira let me start ID checks at the floor kiosk last time; ask a pit boss before you even queue up.

@JackpotGuru2011 asking a pit boss first is smart, wish I'd known that 😅 total noob here, still learning how the cage side works. Does the kiosk trick work on busy weekend nights too?

Confirmed, the floor kiosk ID trick works at Gravira, saved me a chunk of queue time on my last hit 🔥 chasing the bonus by the cage instead lol
Backing my slot to the last spin.

@DaveRTP the kiosk pre-check trick works, did it myself last time and skipped most of the line. Still want to see what the C$1.5k in ten minutes story looks like on paper though - fast cage payouts always read cleaner than they cash out.

@MaxBetLife247 fair skepticism, but my last cashout there was basically that story, did the kiosk ID pre-check, hit the counter, C$1.2k in hand fast enough that I made my supper reservation. Only snag was the ticket verification took a beat longer than the payout itself. C$1.5k in ten minutes? Believable if your ID is already cleared before you line up 🔥

@Grand_Win kiosk trick worked for me on a packed Saturday night, dunno why but the weekend queue moves faster when your ID is already cleared at the floor 🤷‍♂️ did it before my last cash out and was at the counter way quicker than the guys lining up cold. And @MaxBetLife247 honest answer, I've never had a problem there, walked out with C$1.5k same visit and the cage didn't blink. Maybe I got lucky but I keep going back, treat the pit staff decent and they treat you decent imo 🔥🎰

@DoubleDouble_87 the queue part I buy, pre-cleared ID obviously moves you up the line. What I'd want to see is that same packed Saturday with a four-figure hand pay, because that's when a supervisor gets called over and the friendly clock stops. Did you keep the paid ticket stub from that cash out? Cage receipt or it didn't happen.

@LuckyLady_777 fair point on the hand pay, that's a whole different animal. I've had a four-figure one at Gravira a while back and yes, the supervisor came over, the tax paperwork happened, and the friendly clock absolutely stopped for a stretch. Turned 50 into 5k once in my younger days and learned patience is part of the payout too 😄 if it's a busy Saturday, expect the ticket stub to matter, keep it.
