half-empty floors don't always mean dead, mind you, remember turning 50 into 5k on Mega Moolah at a Tuesday-night ghost town years back 😄 that said, if the crowd's thin the pit's probably tight with comp cuts too, so i'd give it one proper visit before writing it off. cheaper than guessing from the sidewalk.
I remember the old slots first-hand.

Half-empty on a weekend is a rough sign, though I've had some of my best sessions in dead rooms, fewer eyes, pit leaves you alone, machines just sit there cold until someone walks up 😅 I'd say do one recon trip with a small bankroll, watch how the cages and comps treat you, and only commit if the vibe pays. That 50 to 5k story is exactly why I never write a floor off on looks alone 🎰

Dead room vibes honestly work for me too 😄 went in with like C$20 last time somewhere quiet and the pit barely looked twice. Maybe recon trip first then, cheers that helps!

Funny how everyone's romanticizing the empty floor. A quiet room means nothing if the cage won't actually pay you out, I'd want to hear from someone who's cashed a decent win there before booking the trip. Anyone got a cashout screenshot from Players Palace, or is it all just vibes? Check the blacklist first too, cheap insurance.
Cashout screenshot or it didn't happen.

Maybe I'm being dumb but isn't Players Palace online-only anyway?? I thought it wasn't a physical floor you could walk into 😅

ha, good catch up there, maybe the fella who started this walked past something else entirely, or we're arguing over a joint nobody can even find the door for 😄 personally i trust LuckyLady's instinct more than any vibe: show me someone who's queued at their cage with a fat slip in hand and THEN i'll burn gas money driving across town. dead floors paid me plenty over the years, unpaid wins remind you pretty quick that atmosphere counts for squat.

😅 wait so half this thread is about a floor nobody's sure even exists? Now I wanna know if there's an actual cage or we're all guessing lol

@DaveRTP honestly mate same question 🤣 I've donated to enough casinos to know a cage that pays is the whole point, and half this thread can't even find the door. If nobody can confirm it exists, my bank's gone before I've parked the car. Someone just post a photo of the entrance, job done 😂
Bank memes are therapy too.

lol this thread went sideways fast 😂 honestly who cares if the floor's quiet, my best nights happen when the joint's dead. Fewer drunks hogging the machines, me and the reels one on one 🤑 fine with vibes as long as the slots are hitting 🔥💰
Backing my slot to the last spin.

I'd say if you can't even find the door, don't burn a trip on it 😅 I'd rather drive somewhere with a real cage and a floor I can see. Dead floors are fine by me, fewer drunks hogging the reels - but walking past a half-empty mystery building? Hard pass. Stick to your usual spot unless someone here posts an actual paycheque from the place 🔀🎰

@BigWin77 quiet floor helps but I still need a cage that actually pays when it's time to cash out 😅 best session I ever had was on a dead Tuesday night, cleared the bonus in profit off a C$200 buy-in - but if nobody can even find this place's door, hard pass for me too. Would rather know the reels hit BEFORE driving out there.

Honestly the only door I find reliably is the one to the cashier's office after I bust 🤣 count me out of a mystery building, my bankroll dies fast enough in places I CAN find 😂

lmao Variance_PTSD same here, my bankroll doesn't need help disappearing 😂 honestly tho if the floor is that quiet someone's gotta have hit something there recently... I had a dead Tuesday session myself once and walked out up like C$400 off a puny buy-in, those empty floors are where the reels wake up imo 🔀💰

@TurboGG a quiet floor doesn't tell you anything about whether the games pay, that's the trap. On a small spin sample one handpay on a dead Tuesday means nothing, variance doesn't care how many people are watching. What I'd actually want to know before driving anywhere is the denomination spread and whether they run their own slots or vendor machines, because that changes the volatility profile way more than crowd size does. For me the whole question stays moot until someone confirms the cage pays out clean. My spreadsheet has a column for "venue trustworthiness" alongside RTP notes, and an unverifiable location scores about as low as it gets. If anyone does walk in, post the max bet and minimums at the entrance - hit rate matters more than RTP anyway, but I'd still like the math before I hand over a couple hundred.
Volatility > vibes.

@TurboGG maybe I'm being dumb but I thought the same thing about a quiet floor = someone must be winning, then NickHighRoller's point kind of flipped it for me 😅 I'm still learning bonuses and all this, so a dead Tuesday handpay would fool me easy. Wish I could answer your question but I haven't even found this place yet 🙏
New here, soaking it up.

@BigWin_Max not dumb, that dead Tuesday handpay fooled me too once 😂 one guy hits and I deposited the last of it lol. Floor's quieter than my bank account after curtains anyway 🤣
One more spin, promise.

nah variance is real but I'll defend my spot till I die 😂 hit a C$1,400 session there on a dead weeknight once, felt like a holiday, still chase that high every evening. Quiet floor just means more spins for me honestly 🤷🎰

@ChasingLosses_Merchant "still chase that high every evening" is the part that worries me, and you typed it like a win. C$1,400 session is a nice story, but one cashout screenshot from Players Palace would be worth more than ten of these anecdotes. Chasing a old high is how the cage ends up keeping more of your money than you keep.
RTP doesn't lie, win screenshots do.

@ChasingLosses_Merchant bro that C$1,400 story is exactly why I'm on it every evening too 😂 don't let the skeptics get in your head, quiet floor = no lineups at my favourite machine and that's a win ngl 🎰🔥 the vibes alone keep me coming back, screenshot or not

@ChasingLosses_Merchant i know that high you're chasing, turned 50 into 5k on the old machines once and spent the next month trying to buy that feeling back. The machines don't care about your loyalty, they just grind it back out of you one quiet weeknight at a time 😄 enjoy the dead floor by all means, but that C$1,400 is a memory, not a strategy. RTP used to be fairer back in the day too, just saying 😉

@MaxBetLifeEveryday that "one guy hits and I deposited the last of it" line is the whole trap in one sentence, honestly. One handpay on a dead Tuesday tells you nothing about the floor, your spin sample is tiny, and that machine would've paid the same jackpot whether you were standing there or at home. I keep a sheet on variance versus RTP for exactly this reason: RTP is long-run, not one session, and a quiet Tuesday changes neither. What I'd watch instead is how the room feels over a few visits, not one. Same machines, same paytable, same attendance pattern week to week, that's when you can actually tell if the "quiet floor" is just Tuesdays or the place bleeding regulars. Chasing that C$1,400 feeling every evening like Merchant described is where the math stops mattering and the habits start. 📊
Volatility > vibes.

OneMoreDeposit, that last line of yours is the whole story of my spreadsheet, honestly. I tracked a couple hundred sessions across the years and the pattern is always the same: the sessions where I bought the feeling back cost more than the win that started the chase. There's a variance nuance here that people miss, a big early hit doesn't shift your expected value, it just borrows excitement from future sessions. The RTP was baked in before you sat down. That said, WhaleLive has a point about anecdotes, but I'd push back slightly: a single cashout screenshot doesn't prove much either. One payout tells you the cage window was open that night; it says nothing about what the floor took in around it. What I actually want to know from anyone who's been inside lately is boring stuff, how many machines were live versus out of order, and whether the table minimums crept up. That's the real health check for a room like Players Palace, not one lucky Tuesday.
I keep my own spin/hit spreadsheet 📊
