Just Casino in Canada - something odd spotted on the floor
Wait, there's an actual Just Casino spot you can walk into? 😅 I only knew them from the online side and honestly assumed it was all screen-only up here. Curious what the floor even looks like, do they run the usual slots and table setup, or is it more of a hybrid lounge thing?
Genuinely asking because I'm still pretty green to all this 🙈 Made my first deposit online recently and I'm still wrapping my head around wagering, so the idea of seeing a real cage and floor sounds kind of fun. What stood out as odd to you - machines paying weird, layout, crowd? Go easy on me if this is a dumb question lol, cheers 🍻

Also thought they were online-only. Curious if the floor slots are worth a bankroll trip or mostly dead machines - anyone cashed out decent there? 🎰
Cashing out in time is half the battle.
lol same here, thought it was screen-only. no idea about the floor honestly, my payday cellys happen online. someone who's been in the door chime in?
I remember the old slots first-hand.
Honestly I'd hold off on the road trip until someone posts a cashout receipt from that floor. Everyone here's asking the same thing and nobody who's actually walked in has answered. Slots on a physical floor can be tuned however the operator wants, so "it's paying" means nothing without a photo of the ticket. Anyone been inside or is this whole thread guesswork?
Cashout screenshot or it didn't happen.
Same boat here, only ever seen them online and I'm total noob enough that walking into a physical floor sounds intimidating 😅 Honestly the skeptic crew has a point though — I'd want to hear from someone who actually cashed out at the cage before burning gas on a trip. Has anyone even confirmed where abouts in Canada this spot is? 🙏

Funny how six guys piled in to demand receipts from a floor half of us didn't even believe existed till this morning 😄 back in the day we just drove to the nearest hall and found out ourselves. Turned 50 into 5k once on the old slots doing exactly that. waiting for some stranger's cashout pic before spending bus fare seems like the timid way to go, eh. somebody walk in and look around, worst case you lose a coffee's worth of curiosity.
I remember the old slots first-hand.
Honestly maybe I'm being dumb but how do you even clear a bonus at a physical cage 😅 still learning bonuses, so the whole floor thing confuses me. Someone clue me in please 🙏
New here, soaking it up.

@BigWin_Max nothing to clear at a cage, Nick nailed it. The players card is your whole "bonus" there. I run free play and comps like bonus money anyway: get the card, feed it my play, take the free play, cash out when it hits. Cashout discipline is same on a floor as online, honestly 💸

@BigWin_Max not dumb at all, physical floors mostly don't work on online-style bonuses at all, so there's nothing to clear. What you get is comps: sign up for the players card, they track your play and hand you free plays, food or cash back based on your theoretical loss. So the "bonus" is earned by sitting down and spinning, not a deposit match you wager through. If you do make the trip, get the card first thing before you touch a machine.

@BigWin_Max you're not being dumb at all, the confusion is natural because the two systems genuinely work on different math. Online you're chasing wagering requirements against a fixed bonus amount; on the floor there's no wagering requirement to clear, the players card just quietly tracks your coin-in and the house calculates your expected loss from the game's RTP and your average bet. That expected loss is what funds your comps.
Quick session example: say you put C$500 through a penny slot with a theoretical loss of roughly 10% per spin cycle. The card sees about C$50 of theoretical loss from you, and the club typically returns a slice of that back as free play or food credit. So the "bonus" is retroactive and proportional, never upfront like online. One tip from my own trips: always use the card, even for a short session. Uncarded play earns exactly zero, and I've watched people feed a machine for an hour without one. That's just donating EV to the house 📊

Ok so the players card thing just clicked for me, thanks 🙏 So the "bonus" on a floor is basically free play you cash out if it hits? Gonna sign up next visit 😄

@ToqueNorth yep that's basically it, get the card and let them track ya 🔥 I turned a small free play into like C$180 once and walked straight to the cage, felt like a holiday ngl 🤑 slots guy first myself, but even just the food comps are worth swiping for every visit 😎
@ToqueNorth yeah that's it, swipe the card and the free play shows up 👌 but mind the free play itself can't be cashed out, only the winnings - took me a bit to figure that out 😅
Y'all sleeping on the players card honestly 😤 swiped mine at Just Casino last trip and the free play alone paid for my parking AND dinner, no joke 🔰💰 And when free play hits on my favourite slot? Cashed it straight out, cage took like two minutes, no hoops no wagering nada 🤑🤑 That's why I keep telling everyone floors are underrated, food comps keep stacking every visit too. ToqueNorth you're gonna love it, get that card in the machine before you spin anything, learned that the hard way once lol 😅🎰
One slot, one love 🎰
Free play hitting is the best feeling on the floor, no cap 💸 last trip I fed mine into the machine slow, bet per spin small, and when it finally hit I cashed out same session - cashing out in time is everything, learned that the hard way years back when I gave a hit straight back 🙃
Only thing I'd add for you ToqueNorth: sign up before you play, not after. The card tracks from spin one and the offers stack faster that way. And yeah DoubleDouble_87, the food comps alone make it worth swiping, I treat the card like a job benefit at this point, bonus hunting is a job whether it's online or on the floor 🎰
Cashing out in time is half the battle.
@Bonus_God facts, walking to the cage right after a hit is the only way 🤑 did the same on my favourite slot last month, small spins on free play and it actually paid, cashed out before I could talk myself into "one more" 😅🔥 always action here tho, gonna be back on it this evening...

@Multiplier_Hunter giving a hit straight back is the most brutal lesson on the floor 😭 been there myself, spun my free play into a nice one and got greedy with "one more"... cage first, celebration after 🔥
Backing my slot to the last spin.

@VoidedWinVictim the "one more" demon gets everyone lmao 😭 I once gave a solid hit on my all-time favourite straight back doing exactly that, was sick the whole drive home 💀 cage first is basically law now 🤑
One slot, one love 🎰
Gave a bonus hit straight back once too, felt sick 😅 total noob at the time. Now I cash out first, ask questions later. Cage first is law lol
@ChasingLosses_Merchant I've only cashed out once so far and even I learned that lesson lol 😅 cashed a small win on my first trip, felt like a genius walking out.
Learning to clear wagering, go easy 🙏
Honestly I'd have zero discipline for the slow grind, I always rage max bet the free play 😅 still, last time it hit big so maybe greedy works 🔰🎰💰
@JackRTP greedy works until it doesn't, then you're the guy feeding the machine like it owes you a mortgage refund 🤣 I rage max bet free play too, my discipline is legendary for exactly zero minutes. Cage first or it's curtains, that's my whole strategy lol 😂
@YYZ_19 fair question, and honestly the "odd" part was probably that. Any licensed floor in Canada has to pay you out, full stop, so if a withdrawal felt like pulling teeth the problem is the process, not the legality. My rule after twenty-some years of doing this: the cage takes minutes when you're up, and takes forever when you're tilted and feeding it back.
The math side people miss is that staying on the machine "one more spin" after a bonus hit is pure negative EV drift. Your spin sample over twenty minutes is tiny, but the house edge on every single one of those spins is constant. RTP is long-run, not one session. Cashing out doesn't change the RTP; it just stops you from donating your variance back. Walk to the cage while you still remember why you walked over there.

@TurboGG C$900 with shaky hands, that's the BEST feeling on any floor, don't even lie 😂🔥 nothing beats the walk back to the cage when the machine just coughed up for you. That's why this place stays my all-time favourite, the floor's always got energy and the cages never gave me grief either... cashed a decent hit on a Friday night once and was out in ten mins, no drama.
Folks in this thread acting like something sketchy's going on but I keep coming back and the action's always there 🤑🎰 maybe I'm just lucky but hey, not gonna complain lol...
