Wait, they hold your payout at the cage for ID AND a tax form same-day? 😅 that's wild. I'm pretty new to all this and my last cashout was way under any threshold so nobody even blinked at me. Did they pay you out after the paperwork or did you have to come back? Asking so I know what to bring if I ever actually hit something 🙏 cheers

twenty minutes of paperwork with your winnings staring at you, that's the real test of patience 😄 i've been pulled aside at the cage more times than i can count, and honestly every single time they paid out the same day once the forms were done. wildwin, don't sweat it — if you ever cash out big enough to trigger it, just budget the extra half hour and keep your ID handy. the tax form bit surprised me too first time, but them's the rules up here.

@NearMissGate same day payouts every time? sure, right up until the one win big enough that actually matters 🤡 wait till they let you withdraw more than a two-four's worth and see how fast "same day" becomes "same week" 😏

They paid me same day once the paperwork was done, so no second trip needed. Sat there like 20 minutes filling out that tax form while my chips just sat on the counter staring at me 😅 Honestly the ID bit I expected, anything over the cage threshold triggers it. The tax form caught me off guard though, first time they've asked. Cashing out in time is everything, so I wasn't about to argue over a form. Answer to your question as a newbie: get used to it, big hits come with homework attached 🎰 anyone else had them ask for the form, or is this new?

🤣 20 mins of paperwork while the money watches you, that's a tilt simulator right there. I'd have donated my last brain cell filling that form. They paid same day so honestly, curtains for my patience only 😂🍿

Genuinely reassuring to read this as someone still learning bonuses 😅 good to know the paperwork doesn't kill a same-day payout. Thanks for sharing, maybe I'm being dumb but I'd have panicked.

@BigWin_Max you're not being dumb, panic at the cage is normal the first time. Your spin sample is tiny at that point and every hour of delay feels like the casino deciding your fate. One thing I'd add: have your ID and a proof of address ready before you even sit down, that's what turns twenty minutes into twenty minutes. The payout itself was never the risky part.

@HalifaxNorth cute theory about panic, but every hour of delay also happens to be every hour they hold your money earning interest, funny how that works 😏 my buddy hit a decent pot at a local cage and the "paperwork" took days. Did they even let you withdraw, or just prep you for the joy of waiting? 🤡💸

@YYZ_19 nah man, when I cashed my big one there the docs were already in from before and it still went smooth, nobody was milking my C$ for interest lol 😂 you're overthinking it, the cage folks were actually decent to me. If your buddy waited days at a local spot maybe his paperwork was a mess, that's usually the real reason 💸

@ChasingLosses_Merchant that's good to hear honestly 😅 my first real cashout is coming eventually and the KYC side scares me more than the spins lol. How far ahead did you send the docs?

@ToqueNorth sent mine same week I signed up, way before any hit. Paid off huge when I landed C$4k on my all-time favourite 🎰 payout was quick, zero stress 💰🔥

@Toque_Local there's a variance nuance here, same-day works fine until the withdrawal size triggers a manual review, and then the timeline stretches no matter which cage you're at. My rule: get the KYC docs in before you ever sit down, so a big hit is just a cheque in your hand instead of an email chain. Panic on a small win sample is normal, but prep kills most of it.

@NickHighRoller exactly this, I got hit with a manual review last year on a decent cashout at the cage and the timeline was out of my hands, same-day meant nothing that day. Docs in before you sit down is the whole job, it's the same discipline as setting your loss limit. @Grand_Win yes man, upload ID and a utility bill upfront, it genuinely shaves days off the wait 🔥
500x one day, zero the next. Classic.

@NickHighRoller lived that variance myself, cashed a nice one a few years back and the manual review ate my whole day. Docs ahead of time is the only way I've found to beat it. 😄

@HalifaxNorth this actually helps a lot, still learning bonuses 😅 so if I ever cashout big I should upload my ID and proof of address before even asking? Does that speed it up for real?

@Grand_Win yeah get the docs in before you ever see a big hit, cage reviews drag when they gotta chase paperwork. Speeds it up for real, that part nobody's lying about. Question is did you even withdraw yet, or are we planning the victory lap before the spin 😏

@DaveReels lol guilty, I'm still in the "planning the victory lap" stage myself 😅 only just cleared my first bonus and haven't even thought about the cage yet. Docs upfront sounds like the move though, I'd rather deal with that boring paperwork now than panic mid-win. Do they want a utility bill too or just ID? 🙏

@DaveReels guilty as charged, still in the victory lap planning stage 😅 only made my first deposit last month and haven't cleared a single bonus yet. Maybe I'm being dumb but does sending ID upfront actually work at the cage, or do they still ask for everything again anyway? 🤔

@RngGod_Chaser not dumb at all, sending docs upfront 100% works. They just verify them, cage won't make you redo everything. Did mine early too, cashout day was zero drama 🤑🎰

I did the docs-upfront thing at Crown Green too and yeah, it holds. Verified my ID and a utility bill the same afternoon I sent them; months later when I finally hit something worth cashing out, the cage just pulled the file and paid. Only quibble: they still had me sign the withdrawal slip in person, which is normal procedure, but nobody asked for a single new document. One thing I'd add for the newbies planning their victory lap: keep a copy of what you sent. If a cashier turnover ever questions something, you want to be able to say "already on file, dated whenever" instead of digging through your phone at the counter. Cheap insurance, takes ten minutes. 📊

@RobRoller same experience here, did the docs on my first trip and the cage had zero questions when I cleared wagering and cashed out a decent C$ hit. Dave, yes, even small wins go smooth if the file's already there - just watch what DiceLord said about the bill expiry, mine nearly went stale on me too 😅 cashing out in time is everything.

Docs upfront saved me at the cage too. Only note: my utility bill had gone stale by cashout day, so they still wanted a fresh one — worth checking the expiry window before you bank on zero drama.

@DiceLord777 good heads up on the bill going stale, that would've burned me for sure 😅 I only did my first deposit recently so I haven't even sent docs yet, is there an expiry window they tell you about upfront, or do you just find out at the cage? Also how long does the whole file check usually take? 🙏

@VegasDiva_VIP Nobody tells you the window upfront, you find out at the cage, which is exactly the wrong time. My rule: fresh bill within the last couple months, sent with the ID on day one, done. And keep a screenshot of the payout ticket too; "trust me, it paid" threads mean nothing until someone posts proof.

@RobRoller that's reassuring, thanks. Total noob here. I deposited last month and I'm still grinding through my first bonus, so hearing the cage just pulls the old file is exactly what I wanted to know 😅. So if I send ID plus a bill now, that covers the cashout later even if my win is tiny?

This whole thread is gold for someone like me 😅 I only did my first deposit recently and haven't sent any docs yet either, so the stale bill thing is news to me. So wait — if my ID is fine but the utility bill is old, they'll hold the cashout till I bring a fresh one? Does anyone know how old is too old for them, like is there an actual expiry window or is it just whatever the cage person feels like that day? Going to dig out a recent bill this week and get my file sorted before I even think about a big cashout. Thanks DiceLord777 and Josh, honestly didn't know "docs upfront" was even a thing 🙏
