Lost three hours at Pickering Casino Resort without even trying
Three hours without noticing?? 😂 I haven't even been yet, still new to all this. Is the slot section really that huge, and can you cash out at the cage same night or is there a wait on a Saturday? Go easy on me lol 🙏
Asking dumb bonus questions — that's the job.
Newbie question but a fair one - yes, the cage was moving quick on the Saturday I went, no real wait even with the floor packed. And yeah the slot section is massive, you basically walk a maze of pokies before you spot the tables 😅 I set myself a C$200 budget, bet small per spin, hit decent on one machine and walked it straight to the cage - cashing out in time is everything on a floor that big 🎰
ha, the cage being quick on a saturday is good news, the one I remember from the old days had lines like a grocery store on sale day 😄 and yeah newbie, that maze of pokies before the tables is real, felt like I walked a kilometre and passed every machine they ever built. worth the trip though, floor's got energy the old local halls never had.
I remember the old slots first-hand.
Good to hear the cage moves fast on a Saturday. Only caution for the newbie: set that budget before you walk in, that pokie maze is designed to eat hours and wallets.

That maze of pokies is no joke, I clocked the same thing when I went - you think you're heading for the tables and suddenly you're three rows deep in machines you swore you already passed 😅 Saturday crowd was thick enough that getting anywhere felt like weaving through a mall at Christmas. Cage did me right though, cash in hand same night. 🎰
500x one day, zero the next. Classic.
LuckyLady's right that the maze eats wallets, but my caveat: every time someone tells me they "hit decent," I want to see the cage ticket. Personally I got turned around twice between those pokie rows and gave up on the tables entirely, sat down at whatever machine was in front of me like the maze planned it. Went home even, which after that layout I'll take as a win.
Licence first, deposit after.
Cage ticket or it didn't happen, that's my rule too 😅 I gave up finding the tables too, just parked at the first pokie that paid and called it a session. 🎰

AGCO licence means nothing to me until someone posts a cage ticket from that place. Same maze story here, walked half the floor Saturday and left the tables for the pros.

Sounds like I'd get lost in that maze too 😅 the few times I've cashed out at a cage it was same night, no drama. Maybe dumb question but do they have staff to point you to the tables? 🤔
New here, soaking it up.
