Sounds like a good Friday, getting your machine without a wait after 9pm is a win on its own 😄 Only been to a couple of land-based spots so far and the cage thing always makes me nervous, good to hear it was quick there. Is McPhillips worth the trip from out of town, or mostly a locals crowd? 🎰

the cage thing, you get used to it, kid. first few times i cashed out my hands were sweatin like i was robbing the place 😄 after a while its just another line at the counter. mcphillips handled it quick when i've been through there, no drama, which is all you can ask.
worth the trip from out of town? i'd say yeah on a friday. crowd fills in after 9 but the slots floor never gets sardin-tight, which is rare these days, half the rooms i've played in the prairies you're hovering over some guy's shoulder waiting for a machine that's been dead for an hour. there i got on my usual without a stare-down contest. mix of tables and slots is decent too, something for whatever mood the bankroll's in. it's mostly a locals crowd but friendly enough, nobody side-eyes a visitor. go once and see, worst case you lose your gas money like the rest of us 😉

Okay dumb question from someone who's barely set foot in a real casino 😅 when you all say "cashing out at the cage", do you literally walk up to a counter with your ticket or chips and they hand you cash right there? @VancouverLocal416 that couple-minute turnaround lines up with my visits too, the cage staff there are efficient even when the floor is packed. Only thing I'd add for the newbies reading: ticket redemption itself is instant, but on a small spin sample a hot Friday can still sting the wallet before you even get to the counter, I keep a session log and McPhillips evenings always look rosier in memory than in my spreadsheet 📊 Anyone else find the Friday crowd thins out noticeably past 10 or so?
