Grand Villa Burnaby: is the cage cashout actually that slow
Honestly the Friday cage line at Grand Villa Burnaby got me too - waited longer there than to even get on a blackjack table 😅 Is it always like that or is it just everyone cashing out after pay-night? Kinda wondering if I should just cash my chips before midnight next time 🤔

been through this cycle before, fellas - every casino I've hit, payday Friday the cage line's brutal. cash out early or get a drink and give'r a wait, that's the deal.
I remember the old slots first-hand.
Cashing out before 11 is the move, learned that the hard way - Friday at Grand Villa the cage line wraps halfway across the floor because everyone's clearing their chips after payday. I just budget the session so I'm walking to the cage by ten, saves me twenty minutes standing there watching my bankroll do nothing. Hurts worse than a dead slot run, honestly 😭
Cashing out in time is half the battle.
Peak-hour cage queue is normal, not a scam. But no payout til you see the cash. I keep my ticket and cash out early, same as Josh says.
Cashout screenshot or it didn't happen.
Been twice on a Friday and just played out the wait near the cage, then walked up when it thinned. Worked fine for me 🤷 cheers
Asking dumb bonus questions — that's the job.
ha, turned 50 into 5k once at a place with the same cage story. Line's long 'cause pay-night brings 'em all out 😉 cash early and you'll walk out smiling.

@NearMissGate 100 into 5k territory, love it. I've sat on a handpay waiting out that Friday line twice - cashing early is bankroll discipline, full stop 💸

Honestly I cash my ticket at the cage BEFORE my last few spins now, learned that the hard way on a Friday 😅 anyone else do that or am I overthinking it?

Not dumb at all ToqueNorth, I cash out before my last spins too 😅 Friday cage line at Grand Villa is just pay-night crowds right?
Learning to clear wagering, go easy 🙏

@RngGod_Chaser yeah pay-night crowds for sure, Fridays there are packed 😅 I do the same thing tbh, cash the ticket then keep playing with fresh money, way easier on the nerves. Last session I hit a nice bonus on my favourite slot after cashing out early and walked with the whole thing, felt like a genius lol 💸 just don't re-buy past what you came with and it works 🎰...
Backing my slot to the last spin.
@VoidedWinVictim that cash-then-fresh-money move is the truth 🔥 last time I did that my bonus round hit like 10 spins later, felt like the slot was rewarding me for being smart lol. Grand Villa Friday line is a rite of passage at this point, just accept it 😅🎰💰

@BigWin77 lol the slot rewarding you for being smart is exactly the coping mechanism I run on too 😂 I'm on it every evening at Grand Villa and Friday line is just part of the ritual now, grab a coffee and accept your fate. Did cash-then-fresh once, turned the fresh C$200 into a bonus round on spin 3, felt like a genius 🔥🎰
The hit is close, I can feel it.
@RngGod_Chaser yep pay-night crowds, that Friday line is brutal 😅 cashing early saved my hide more than once... took a C$1.2k hit running to the cage mid-session and felt like a genius after. ah well

@YYZTrue locking in C$1.2k mid-session is just bankroll management wearing a lucky hat, and I mean that as a compliment. People forget RTP is long-run, not one session, so cashing early costs you nothing on EV. The "slot pays right after you cash" stuff is pure memory bias though, your spin sample is tiny and the machine neither knows nor cares 📊
Volatility > vibes.

@HalifaxNorth that actually makes sense to me, cashing early still feels wrong tho 😅 does the same logic work when you're clearing a bonus or is wagering different?
@VegasDiva_VIP good question, and yes it changes the picture. When there's wagering attached, EV becomes your constraint, so you play the lowest house-edge games that qualify and keep bet size steady - variance only hurts you there because a bad swing can bust you before you clear. On raw cash play, cashing early costs you nothing mathematically; with a bonus, you have to finish the requirement first or the whole thing evaporates. Different problem entirely 📊

@VegasDiva_VIP yeah wagering flips everything, min bets till it clears then run for the cage lol. Grand Villa line moves fast when there's actual cash involved, trust me 🔰🎰
One slot, one love 🎰

@NearMissEnjoyer sitting on a handpay through that Friday line takes nerves of steel ngl 😅 I cash early too and toss it straight back into my all-time favourite after, the ticket printout is like a green light, the slot always seems to pay right after 🔥🎰
One slot, one love 🎰
@VegasDiva_VIP wagering flips the whole plan, yeah - I grind a bonus through at minimum bet per spin and don't touch the cashout button till it's cleared, one hot streak mid-clear means nothing if the playthrough isn't done. Once it converts to real cash though, that's my money and it walks to the cage same night. Took me one busted Friday at Grand Villa to learn that difference 😭💸
500x one day, zero the next. Classic.

@SinceRegular this is the one place I actually have patience lol, minimum bets and zen mode till the playthrough clears 🤣 the one time tilt isn't my second home. Then the cage line at Grand Villa humbles me anyway 😂

@Variance_PTSD funny thing is min-bet grinding through a playthrough actually flattens your variance, so zen mode is mathematically the right call even if it feels boring. My sessions there, the cage wait has mostly been the calmest part of the night, by then I already know whether the sample went my way or not. The walk from the floor to the line is where you do your honest accounting, eh.
Volatility > vibes.
the zen mode only lasts till the playthrough clears, then greed takes the wheel again 😄 cage line at Grand Villa's never bothered me much though, cash moves faster than bonus chasers do
I remember the old slots first-hand.
Greed takes the wheel every time for me, wheel's rigged against me too 🤣 last "zen" session ended with the bank's gone by the cage line 😂
@PoutineHQ gone before you reach the cage is the most honest outcome report in this whole thread. Everyone's typing about zen mode and playthroughs, you actually showed what happens - nothing cashed. Post a payout screenshot next time you beat it and I'll believe the cage speed talk from the rest of them.
Licence first, deposit after.
@BankrollHunter fair point, but clearing a playthrough and walking to the cage with something left happens too - did it at Grand Villa last month, min-bet grinding on a C$200 bank, cashed out in time and the cheque cleared same week. The trick is deciding your exit number before you sit down; greed takes the wheel the moment you skip that step 😭
Cashing out in time is half the battle.
